The NetApp America sales team has demonstrated innovation and sales leadership
in a highly increasingly competitive cloud computing market.

ACHIEVEMENTS

•In the first quarter of fiscal year 2012 (8/11) NetApp innovation helped
customers and partners effectively manage significant data growth. "An
unexpectedly large slowdown" among large direct sales accounts was offset by
record sales from NetApps indirect, partner channels representing the
highest-ever percentage of revenue.

•NetApp’s OnCommand management software and Alliance Technology Partner Program
allow customers to easily migrate to public, private, and hybrid cloud models,
using third party expert partners to help clients with IT infrastructure.

•The company achieved record levels of FAS6000 systems sales, near record
numbers of new enterprise customer wins, and the new E-series sales exceeded
forecasts.

•NetApp is the only major storage vendor to make Forbes’ list of the 100 most
innovative companies; recognized for building a culture of innovation that has
transformed the foundation of its customers' business and has been a catalyst to
their success. This innovation has been a driver behind NetApp's growth and
continued success.
