When Nathan Miller first began investing in real estate, he found himself frustrated with the lack of software solutions for everyday landlords. In 2007, using his self-taught programming skills, Nathan created a program to meet his own needs and offered it for free to other landlords facing similar problems. Soon, it became apparent that Nathan had met a deep industry need.
As requests for more features and support came rolling in, Nathan left his 9-5 and officially founded Rentec Direct. Rentec Direct is a bootstrapped, debt-free venture that grows 100% organically to this day.
Rentec focuses on small to midsize property managers, a market segment often abandoned by other vendors in the space. Nathan continues work as a software developer at his company, coding new features, testing the software, and engaging with his clients for direct consumer feedback.
