Jurny launched as an operator for independent hotel and multi-family buildings owners in 2017, developing and implementing its own proprietary technology and software solutions for proof of concept. The company’s executive leadership understood the unique challenges the industry faced, factoring in consumer behavior shifts driving the need for more autonomy via on-demand services, and integrated automated systems and contactless technology into the hotel experience - making check-in as seamless as requesting an Uber.
Within a few years, the company had nearly 1,000 units under management. With contactless solutions in place, during the onset of the pandemic, Jurny’s occupancy rates were double the industry standard.
