The Women’s Real Estate Investors Network (WREIN) is the largest learning and networking community for women real estate investors in the nation –  teaching women to become financially confident, build multi-generational wealth, and design a life they love. In 2018, Tresa Todd and her sons Kelton Todd and Justin Todd founded the WREIN after Tresa noticed that there were few women involved in real estate investing (REI). Her goal was to provide more women with the freedom that comes with financial security.

Since then, the company has grown tremendously. What started as a Dallas-only women’s REI networking event transformed into an organization serving hundreds of thousands of women in all 50 U.S. states. Tresa Todd never imagined they would shift from in-person events and teachings to online, but when the pandemic struck, she knew she had to do something about it so more women could have access to this specialized knowledge about REI. After acting swiftly and working diligently, the team moved the events online - what once seemed like a huge obstacle became an opportunity to help more women create the lives they desired through REI.

  4. If you are providing written answers for your submission, you must provide an answer to this second question: Outline the organization's achievements since the beginning of 2021 that you wish to bring to the judges' attention (up to 250 words):

A total of 1,796 women joined our exclusive mentorship program in 2022, compared to 1,582 women in 2021. Year-over-year, this was an increase of 13%. Our mentorship program offers students a year-long high-touch mentoring experience that includes (but is not limited to) mentoring with Tresa, business launch coaching, marketing launch coaching, WREIN mentor coaching calls, an accountability program, and a VIP WREIN Live ticket.

A big accomplishment was the successful growth of the REI Masterclass, a 7-day immersive coaching program that educates women about the inner workings of REI and provides them with a community of strong, like-minded women who aim to inspire and lift each other up. In 2022, our Masterclass reached 57,793 women compared to 41,853 women in 2021, a 27% increase.

From late 2021 until now, we’ve grown from 26K followers to 63.7K, a growth rate of 145%. On Facebook, we went from 28K to 60K, an increase of 114%.

As a company, we’ve grown from having less than 10 employees in 2021 to a team of 56 today. Our team is continually growing and we’re very excited to continue that growth into 2023 as we are projecting to grow our team even more in the coming year.

  5. If you are providing written answers for your submission, you must provide an answer to this third question: Explain why the achievements you have highlighted are unique or significant. If possible compare the achievements to the performance of other players in your industry and/or to the organization's past performance (up to 250 words):

    Total 237 words used.

Our community is one of the largest networking opportunities for women to thrive in real estate investing and guides them on how to do it successfully. There is an abundance of real estate investing educational companies in cities across the U.S. but none of them are geared directly toward supporting women. In addition, most of them are based locally. Since we have a network of women all over the country, we give women an opportunity to invest and partner not only in their own neighborhoods but anywhere they could dream of.

As you can see from our growth highlighted above, the WREIN has had the opportunity to create an enormous impact on hundreds of thousands of women. The women in our network have been able to reach huge milestones in their lives including paying off debt, sending their children to college without student loans, taking their dream vacations and being able to give back to the causes that they care about most.

We've accomplished great things as a team, and our growth has allowed us to acquire more and more talented members. Our growth of over 460% has played an instrumental part in our success. It’s always been a priority for us to be completely transparent with our team. We foster this transparency throughout the organization by being honest about our wins and losses. As a result, our team trusts us and the company we're building.

  6. You have the option to answer this final question: Reference any attachments of supporting materials throughout this nomination and how they provide evidence of the claims you have made in this nomination (up to 250 words):
