    Webex Events (formerly Socio) was founded in 2016 and has gradually released new product offerings over the years to make us a more complete end-to-end event management solution. In November 2021, we launched Onsite by Webex Events, and in January 2023, we launched the Webex Events Production Studio.

    Webex Events is an all-in-one event management platform to help users host unforgettable in-person, hybrid, and virtual events. Our core products include the Production Studio, Event hub and mobile event app, Registration & Ticketing, Onsite check-in & badge printing, Lead Retrieval, Community Platform, and Professional Services. Key features include registration, ticketing, schedules, live streaming; attendee engagement tools like games, polls, chat, & sponsorship showcase; and in-person products like onsite check-in & badge printing, and lead retrieval. We power any kind of event up to 100K attendees, like multi-day multi-session conferences. Real time metrics are available to help track the progress of an event and pivot strategy as needed.

    In 2021, Onsite by Webex Events launched, allowing organizers to create a fully customizable attendee check-in and on-demand badge printing experience. The Onsite App can be customized however our customers want with graphics, button labels, icons, and more. It also syncs to our Registration product, eliminating the need to export and import data. Badge design is simple, intuitive, and has lots of customization features. We also ship badge printing hardware so customers only need to plug in and go. Attendees can check in and print their badge in seconds.

    In 2023, the Production Studio launched. This new product is a built-in broadcasting studio that’s fully customizable and easy to use and requires no downloads or outside software. Organizers can live stream or upload videos to their event and engage with attendees via chat, polling, and Q&A features. Up to 13 guest speakers can join the studio either from their mobile device or desktop. 

    Our one stop shop product allows event professionals to reduce their event tech stack from multiple vendors to just one, to enable them to spend more time focusing on other aspects of planning their event, to save time by removing manual tasks such as stuffing badges late at night, to better manage budget, revenue, and ROI, to increase attendee engagement (mobile event app, game feature, polling, Q&A, and chat), to optimize sponsor and exhibitor relationships, and to help automate their event so they can do more with less.

    Market performance and customer satisfaction of Webex Events has been positive since our inception in 2016. Prior to being acquired by Cisco in July 2021, our customer base included Google, Microsoft Corp, Jet Blue, PepsiCo, Stanford University, and other big logos. We also raised $6.7 million in funding, a testament to the positive market reception of our company and products.
