Nomination Title: Daniel Fantasia, President and Founder

  1. Tell the story about what this nominee achieved since January 1 2007 (up to 500 words). Focus on specific accomplishments, and relate these accomplishments to past performance or industry norms. Be sure to mention obstacles overcome, innovations or discoveries made, and outcomes:

Daniel Fantasia founded Treeline, Inc. in 2001 with an exclusive focus on
helping companies build world-class, high-output, sales teams. Treeline
provides services in two areas: contingency-based placement and sales
outsourcing. During the past seven years, Dan has partnered with hundreds of
respected companies and thousands of top-tier sales candidates. His company is
consistently recognized by clients and respected sources as a rapidly growing
    and innovative service partner.

Under Dan’s leadership, Treeline has achieved double- and triple-digit growth
and profitability each year (400% in its first year) and has become widely
recognized throughout the Northeast and beyond. Treeline’s client roster now
includes 200+ high-profile regional and national companies. At present,
Treeline employs 30 recruiters and will generate $4 million in revenue this
year, making it one of the largest of its kind regionally.

Dan has grown Treeline from a one man operation to one of the Area’s Largest
Executive Search Firms in 2007 and 2008. Also in 2007, Treeline was recognized
for filling more positions than any other staffing company (among 40 firms) in
    Massachusetts.

Last spring, Treeline was named as one of the top five (#5) Best Places to Work
(companies up to 100 employees) by the Boston Business Journal. This honor
speaks directly to Dan’s commitment to being “an employer of choice.” Dan is
consistently recognized for creating a unique corporate culture based on
entrepreneurial spirit, collaboration, mutual respect, and team success. The
company has invested significantly in its most important asset since day one –
human capital; this includes compensation and training. For example, Treeline
has offered a matching 401k plan since the hiring of its third employee (now
4%), and all team members receive a base salary in addition to uncapped
commissions – which is unheard of in the staffing industry and is definitely
    not the norm.

Because of his strong commitment to his employees, he is able to retain the
vast majority. In 2007, the average turnover rate for recruiters at executive
search firms was 59%. However, Treeline's 2007 turnover rate was only 14%. In
fact, Treeline’s turnover rate has always remained between 10-14 percent –
which is a fraction than that of our competitors. As well, Fantasia promotes
100% from within and promotes workforce diversity (50% of management is female).

Most recently, Treeline was recognized as a Stevie Award Finalist by Selling
Power Magazine in multiple categories including Sales Recruitment Organization
of the Year, Training Program of the Year, and Compensation Program of the Year.

Treeline has captured the largest market share among permanent sales recruiters
and has surpassed our direct competitors - who've both been in business 3X
longer. In 2008, in response to client demand and compelling trends, Fantasia
    created Treeline Contract Staffing Solutions.

Fantasia has overcome many challenges. He started Treeline in the midst of an
economic downturn with no outside financing. Treeline remains debt-free to this
    day.

The most significant outcome has been financial success - consecutive double-
digit profitability - resulting directly from Fantasia's unique collaborative
approach that encourages talent retention and low turnover.

fastest growing executive search firm focused exclusively on sales. Fantasia
grew the company 400% in its first year alone, and has achieved double-digit
profitability ever since. He named “Treeline” for the outdoor adventurers
