TaskUs powers the world’s most disruptive tech companies by keeping the internet safe and providing omnichannel customer service and back-office support. Since the very beginning, TaskUs has taken an innovative approach to client success, investing in our own people and technology to deliver a modern, exceptional experience for our clients.

To mark our successful IPO in June 2021, TaskUs gifted a cash or equity award to every single one of our over 30,000 employees—hundreds of TaskUs leaders around the world were granted equity awards, and our teammates were thrilled to receive cash bonuses. We also announced the launch of a global tuition reimbursement program, providing support to TaskUs teammates seeking further professional and academic development. Additionally, a pandemic-driven revamp of our wellbeing initiatives led to significant improvement in employee experience. From enhancing our eNPS (64 in 2019; 72 in 2020), to increasing referral rates (48% vs. 35% industry average), to lowering voluntary attrition (15% in 2020), TaskUs has demonstrated a strong commitment to cultivating a supportive and equitable workplace.

With industry-leading benefits, career advancement opportunities, and an unrivaled employee experience, TaskUs ensures that all teammates are motivated to support TaskUs success and to deliver exceptional results for our clients.

In the past year, TaskUs initiatives to improve diversity and inclusion, employee wellbeing, and corporate social responsibility have been recognized by prominent platforms like Business Intelligence, Comparably, Investors in People, and Women Leading Change. TaskUs continues to lead the industry with a focus on building an unrivaled employee experience.

In response to the pandemic, TaskUs was one of the first global BPOs to shift its entire workforce to work-from-home as early as March 2020. TaskUs broke barriers with the launch of Cirrus: a cloud-based global remote work platform providing industry-leading support to both TaskUs teammates and clients. As part of the program, TaskUs also developed valuable custom content—including one-on-one sessions with licensed healthcare professionals and skills groups—made available 24/7.

To promote open and transparent communication, every TaskUs teammate participates in a weekly one-on-one meeting with their supervisor. Senior leaders also organize town hall meetings to answer questions directly from teammates. A Wellness Scorecard with KPIs measuring employee wellbeing and utilization was even created to help TaskUs leadership make better-informed decisions around teammate health and wellness. Lastly, we launched the Connect15 program—only 15 minutes long and conducted in small groups, Connect15 meetings are a safe, virtual space for teammates to interact. Connect15 was launched in Q4 2020 with the goal of conducting at least 1000 sessions that quarter; TaskUs ended with 2066. To date, teammates have met and participated in a combined total of 2472 Connect15 sessions. All surveys showed positive feedback and some are even requesting for longer sessions!

  5. If you are providing written answers for your submission, you must provide an answer to this third question: Explain why the achievements you have highlighted are unique or significant. If possible compare the achievements to the performance of other players in your industry and/or to the organization's past performance (up to 250 words):

Leaning on the industry-leading Cirrus platform, TaskUs was able to expand and improve customer services while providing all-new opportunities for our employees, ensuring their health and wellbeing during these unprecedented times. Over a year since its launch, the Cirrus model has allowed TaskUs employees to safely support the world’s most notable brands and bolster their customer experience and offerings for the post-pandemic world. Today, 90% of TaskUs teammates continue to work remotely via Cirrus, while many of our competitors have already started running their offices at full capacity.

Our clients’ decisions to expand their business with us during the pandemic are tangible evidence of their satisfaction with our teams. TaskUs customers regularly entrust us with additional lines of business and increase their number of FTEs, which is how we have been able to grow from 17,500 employees in 2019 to more than 35,600 today. TaskUs’s continued business milestones and success over the last two years—including being recognized as CCW BPO of the Year and one of the “Best Places to Work” by Comparably, Investors in People, Business Intelligence, among others—culminated in the company filing to become publicly traded, posting a valuation of up to $2.3 billion.
