Over the past two years, PayJunction’s API has been enhanced with important features that boost productivity, improve the customer experience, lower costs, and protect data.
Disable Signatures and Receipts
COVID-19 created the need to minimize contact with surfaces. PayJunction quickly added a feature in its API to disable signatures, receipts and tip prompting on its ZeroTouch terminal. Customers have the ability to easily change the settings via an online portal without involving software changes.
Digital Invoices
Businesses quickly create an electronic invoice from within their software, attach supporting documentation, and send to customers via email. Customers enter payment details, hit “submit,” and receive an electronic receipt.
Level 3 Processing
Certain corporate, business, and purchasing cards are eligible for lower interchange rates if the transaction includes Level 3 data, such as shipping amounts, order date, product code, etc. Integrators can now pass the data captured in their software to PayJunction, producing significant savings for their customers that do a lot of B2B and B2G business.
JavaScript Tokenization
Payments shifted online during the pandemic, leaving businesses more vulnerable to hackers. Tokenization turns card details into tokens that serve as a reference to the original data, but have no value if breached.
JavaScript Tokenization allows developers to tokenize data on existing payment forms instead of redirecting visitors to a hosted page. Businesses retain full control over the checkout experience and no sensitive card data touches their servers. Tokens are used to process a charge or refund, or to be stored securely for future and recurring payments.
Automatic Customer Management
PayJunction stores tokenized payment details in a secure cloud-based customer vault. Integrators now have the ability to automatically add or update customer profiles when transactions are processed, eliminating the need to manually manage customer details and preferences.
Transaction Search via Response Code
A new search field allows businesses to quickly find transactions based on response type. It includes a “reject” response for ACH payments, which is especially helpful since they are not authorized in real-time. A reject (insufficient funds, etc.) can leave businesses with costly write-offs unless they take action.
