    Mphasis believes that employees are their most important assets, and their safety and wellness are of paramount importance. To ensure the holistic well-being of employees, Mphasis has launched multiple initiatives:

    • Wellness Webinars
    • Manager Digest explaining how to listen, understand and guide employees to available services
    • ‘Reach Us’, a free program is created for comfortable and confidential counselling of employees to help them cope with life’s problems
    • Self-help library and self-assessments around depression, anxiety, anger management, etc.  for employees who wish to read up and understand not just for self but also for family members around them.
    • ‘No Panic’ mental wellness handbook
    • Free membership on India’s largest healthcare platform
    • COVID helpline number with professional counsellors
    • Music therapy sessions
    • Meditation guides and sessions
    • Bio bubbles for safe quarantine
    • Financial wellness sessions

    Mphasis provides timely resources and offers maximum protection possible to all its colleagues and their families:

    • 24 X 7 "war room" (Sanjeevni) providing emergency assistance and references.
    • Database of Covid-recovered employees who volunteered to donate plasma
    • Quarantine facility for positive diagnoses, wherever required
    • Grief counselors
    • Vaccination drives across locations
    • Remote doctor assistance

    Mphasis also established a mobile enabled Employee Outreach Portal where information is collated on WFH policies and tips, contacting HR’s and other outlets for support. When Mphasis lost employees to COVID-19, Nitin Rakesh, CEO of Mphasis prioritized support to their families through monetary assistance - one-year full salary as ex-gratia income and post ex-gratia of INR 30,000 for three years, and employment opportunities within the organization. He personally reached out to the families to offer condolences and the necessary support to get their family back on their feet.

    Mphasis has adopted hybrid first ‘work from anywhere, collaborate in the office’ model to ensure the wellness of their employees. Mphasis wants to enable a workplace where its employees are empowered to choose the environment that they will thrive in to do their best work. Mphasis witnessed an increase in the employee employment net promotion score from 7.37/10 in April 2020 to 7.91/10, in April 2021. Mphasis was Certified ‘Great Place to Work® – USA,' 2020.

    Mphasis’ 2020-21 ESG report includes explanations of the various wellness initiatives that have been implemented over the last year. The document also outlines some of the work that Mphasis has done for both clients and local communities to ease the burden that the COVID-19 pandemic presents.

    Mphasis' No-Panic Covid handbook is included as an attachment, as well as a slideshow with photos from one of the company's many vaccination drives. Also included are links to articles and press releases detailing Mphasis' and CEO Nitin Rakesh's pandemic response.
