Logitech Alert is a complete do-it-yourself home security system in a box,
including a smart camera, software and free remote viewing accessible from any
smartphone or computer, that offers consumers a simple and affordable way to
monitor what matters most. From giving travelers the ability to check in on
their home from the road and parents the ability to keep an eye on their kids
playing in another room to giving small business owners peace of mind knowing
that their property is secure, Logitech Alert is the easiest way for consumers
to keep an eye on what matters most to them.
Traditional home security systems are expensive, require professional
installation fees and can be too complicated for many families and individuals
to take on. Logitech Alert simplifies home security and allows folks the unique
opportunity to tailor the monitoring experience to focus on any of their assets—
whether it’s monitoring when the teenagers get home from school or peeking in on
tots napping in another room.
Logitech Alert’s set up couldn’t be simpler. The camera and software can be
installed in minutes without professional assistance or networking hassles.
Additionally, the system’s HD 720p video and wide-angle lens lets users clearly
recognize people and objects. Logitech Alert’s unparalleled HD video technology
means homeowner-captured footage can now serve as a resource to law enforcement
in ways that would previously have been impossible, creating new partnerships
within communities. In fact, the system has been so effective in empowering
residents to help successfully identify and apprehend home robbery suspects that
the San Jose, CA, police department has recommended its use.
Logitech Alert™ 700i Indoor Master System is sold online and at major retail
outlets for a suggested base price of $299.99. The Logitech Alert™ 750e Outdoor
Master System (a weatherproof, night-vision video security system that lets you
monitor any outdoor space) retails for a suggested base price of $349.99. Add-on
cameras start at $229.99. Depending on the user’s surveillance needs, they can
add up to five additional cameras, allowing them to monitor multiple rooms at
once or target a specific area of the house with one camera. Users can also take
advantage of the Logitech Alert Web and Mobile Commander app, which is an
additional $79.99 per year (new users get a 7-day free trial). The Mobile
Commander app lets you view live and recorded video, as well as manage alerts
and system settings from a smartphone (including Android, iPhone and
Blackberry). Web Commander gives you all the features of the PC software when
away from home on any Web-connected browser on a PC or Mac.
Logitech Alert’s true value for consumers lies in the simplicity and versatility
of the system, which gives consumers an easy way to improve their daily lives.
From easy set up to high quality monitoring capabilities from a smartphone or
PC, you can rest assured knowing Logitech Alert has an eye on whatever is most
important to you, making it easy for anyone to achieve peace of mind.
