Nomination Title: Jason Provenzano, President and Founder

Tell the story about what this nominee achieved since January 1 2010 (up to 500 words). Focus on specific accomplishments, and relate these accomplishments to past performance or industry norms. Be sure to mention obstacles overcome, innovations or discoveries made, and outcomes:

The true meaning of being a successful executive is not only running a
profitable company, but also sharing your success with your community and your
wealth of knowledge with your peers. Jason Provenzano, President and Founder of
Nutricap Labs, embodies what a truly successful executive is.

Despite a global economic crisis that “claimed the lives” of many startup
companies, Nutricap Labs has achieved revenue growth in excess of 2,900% since
2005, with annual sales reaching $16.2M in 2010 under Jason’s leadership. In
recognition of its outstanding growth, Nutricap Labs was named to Inc.
Magazine’s list of fastest-growing companies in 2009 and 2010. Additionally,
they have won multiple PEAK Awards for providing outstanding design and
fulfillment services to its customers. Furthermore, Mr. Provenzano led an
award-winning webinar on the importance of selecting a GMP certified
manufacturer in May, 2010.

What sets Mr. Provenzano apart from other executives in the industry is that he
not only listens to the feedback of his customers, but he acts on it quickly to
immediately meet their needs. For example, throughout 2009, many of our
customers inquired about private labeling services with product minimums less
than 100 bottles. The lower product minimums would enable them to easily start
selling a quality formula without incurring the expenses associated with
manufacturing customized products. As a result, Jason launched Vitacap Labs, a
private label vitamin and supplement manufacturing division with product
minimums starting at just 96 bottles in June, 2010. Despite sizable competition,
Vitacap Labs is projected to post a profit by the end of 2011 due in large part
to the successful direct mail, email, and social media initiatives that Jason
implemented.

As it relates to corporate responsibility, Nutricap Labs is a proud supporter of
several charities and social initiatives such as Make A Wish, Vitamin Angels,
The Belmont Child Care Association, Family Service League and Island Harvest.
Most recently, Jason started a company-wide fundraiser for those people affected
by the recent earthquake and tsunami that decimated Japan and many surrounding
countries. All funds that the company raises at the end of April will be
personally matched by Jason and donated to the American Red Cross of Greater New
York. To date, the company has raised nearly $1,000.
Additionally, Jason is dedicated to educating his peers so they can benefit from
his 15 years of experience in the nutraceutical manufacturing industry. As a
member of Vistage, Jason meets monthly with other local business owners so that
as a collective, they can solve problems and become better leaders that make
better decisions and achieve better results. Additionally, in May, 2010, he
conducted a webinar designed to educate owners of dietary supplement product
lines on the importance of GMP certification that was attended by more than
1,200 people.

As a result of the successful growth of his companies, his tireless charitable
work and his dedication to educating fellow entrepreneurs, it is our sincere
hope that you will select Mr. Provenzano as your Executive of the Year for 2011.
