  1. Tell the story about what this nominee achieved since January 1 2007 (up to 500 words). Focus on specific accomplishments, and relate these accomplishments to past performance or industry norms. Be sure to mention obstacles overcome, innovations or discoveries made, and outcomes:

Under the tutelage of Co-founder and CTO of Intelliden, Glen Tindal, Intelliden
became the first company to pioneer the technology for standardizing and
automating IP network changes in complex multi-vendor environments. Such
innovation, coupled with the high quality of Intelliden’s products, has pushed
Intelliden to expand this year into the Japanese telecommunications market with
the appointment of Intralink as its business development partner. Intelliden
now has access to Japan’s fast-growing market segment for broadband services
delivered over IP networks. In addition, Telefonica International Wholesale
Services selected Intelliden to deploy Intelligent Networking solutions in Spain
    and South America.

In 2007, Intelliden’s development team pushed the envelope further with the roll
out of Intelliden’s Policy-Based Compliance Management (PBCM) solution designed
to ensure that all network changes—irrespective of the device type and
complexity as well as source of requests—can be made in a policy compliant
closed loop manner. Intelliden is now shipping PBCM version 1.1 allowing
Customers to interact with their Network Infrastructure in a highly intuitive,
point and click, drag and drop manner resulting in the ability to
simultaneously, audit, notify and remediate network issues, no matter whether
the issue is an Operational, Security or Regulatory Compliance problem, in a
    matter of minutes.

-- Policy Based Compliance Management progressed from Customer Feedback to
    shipping code within the Year
-- Policy Based Compliance Management is the first product of its kind to allow
customers to determine and implement their specific Compliance needs while
simultaneously addressing known Industry Standard Compliance Checks
-- PBCM is the first in a series of Policy Driven Network Solutions designed to
    incorporate Intelliden’s Patented Technology
-- This year, Canada’s second largest telecommunications service provider, TELUS
selected the new Policy-Based Compliance Management solution to dynamically
automate its most challenging processes associated with managing large scale,
    multi-vendor network environments.

Glen has single-handedly piloted Intelliden’s aggressive patents strategy. These
Patents are foundational to innovative technologies are now being implemented in
the company’s pioneering networking software solutions that enable large
organizations to control, manage and scale their IT networks to deliver
increasingly popular services such as voice-over-IP (VoIP), Internet Protocol
Television (IPTV), High-Definition Television (HDTV), video-on-demand, instant
    gaming and peer-to-peer video.

-- Intelliden has 5 Patents issued in 2007
-- Glen is personally named in 4 of the 5 issued Patents
-- To date, Intelliden has a total to 30+ patents issued and pending.
-- These patents provide the essential underpinnings for policy-based networking
and they enable the ability to receive requests, make intelligent network
decisions and send notifications in a closed-loop policy compliant manner for
    dynamic multi-vendor networks.
