        IFDS is committed to helping children, with a focus on health and education. 
An associate led iCARE committee strives to improve the quality of life of
children and their families by investing in programs that make a difference in
our communities, through associate volunteerism, sponsorships and corporate
donations.  

        IFDS supports philanthropic activities by providing one paid day
off to associates to volunteer time with a charitable organization, and makes a
$1000 donation to a charity where an associate has put in 175 hours of
volunteer time in a year.   IFDS actively supports over 25 charities donating
over $235,000 in 2010, 25% of our associates spent over 1100 hours on
charitable work in 2010 an increase of 725% from 2 years ago.

        IFDS consistently demonstrated generosity and support of children and families
in the areas of healthcare innovation, financial assistance and education: 
•     Three associates represented IFDS in the Friends for Life Bike Rally
joining  more than 400 people to embark on a six-day, 600 km journey from
Toronto to Montreal, to support people living with HIV/AIDS raising over
$17,000. 

        •     Donated $50,000 last year to Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario (POGO)
as a result of IFDS’ annual client golf tournament POGO has created a highly
integrated and seamless pediatric cancer system that supports children and
families throughout the spectrum of illness, recovery and survivorship. Last
year POGO distributed $824,000 to 930 families.

        •     The 24-Hour Spin kept 15 fundraising riders cycling on stationary bikes
around the clock, raising over $4,000 for Trillium's Intensive Care nursery.

        •     Raised $7000 in The Hospital for Sick Children semi-annual beach volley
tournament.   SickKids is Canada’s leading centre dedicated to advancing
children’s health through the integration of patient care, research and
education.

        IFDS donated over $122,000 to organizations that support families getting on
their feet. 
•     14 associates volunteered 132 hours to Habitat-for-Humanity, an
organization that builds safe and affordable housing for low-income families
through volunteer labour.

        •     Raised $93,000 during the annual United Way campaign, as a result of
36% of associates contributing through payroll deductions, corporate fund-
raising events and IFDS 50% match of contributions.  The United Way of Greater
Toronto works to address the root causes of our city’s shared challenges in
order to fulfill long-term needs of individuals and communities. 

        •     IFDS is the corporate sponsor for the University Settlement Recreation
Centre (USRC).  39 IFDS associates volunteered 270 hours at USRC. USRC programs
and services meet the social, economic, and cultural needs of more than 30,000
users annually in Toronto. 

        •     For years IFDS have been sponsoring families during the holiday season
through the “Share Christmas Adopt-A-Family” program.  During this hard
economic time, IFDS was able to sponsor 22 families.   IFDS donated 150 boxes
of gifts/ food, over $3,600 in cash and food vouchers.  Also, 11 associates
helped pack the gift hampers.  In 2010 “Share Christmas Adopt-A-Family”
program” sponsored 1,937 people, which consisted of 647 families, 210 seniors
and 1,052 children. 

        IFDS’ long tradition of involvement, corporate funding, and project initiation
has created a strong culture of caring and corporate citizenship.

        Debralee Goldberg is President and Chief Executive Officer of IFDS. Debralee
has served as president since August 2006, as well as a Board Member. Debralee
has over 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry and has
superior knowledge of mutual fund transfer agency operations, systems and
client services.

        Debralee is a native of Boston. She received a Bachelor of Arts from Boston
University and sits on the Dean’s Advisory Board for the College of General
Studies (of Boston University), as well as on the Alumni Council Board.
Debralee also serves on the Board of Directors of FundSERV Inc., Canada.
