    Third-party Amazon sellers ship hundreds of billions of dollars worth of inventory to Amazon’s Fulfillment Centers every year. GETIDA’s technology audits their FBA inventory for discrepancies related to lost, damaged, or disposed inventory and our claims resolution specialists manage each case until successful resolution in the form of a cash or inventory reimbursement from Amazon back to the seller. GETIDA has rolled out enhanced features and functionality to deliver increased value to our tens of thousands of Amazon seller users. Among them:

    We’ve launched Proof of Delivery retrieval to automate delivery documentation and shipment delivery status [REDACTED FOR PUBLICATION]. For nearly 40% of claims, sellers must produce Proof of Delivery documents showing their inventory was delivered into Amazon’s Fulfillment Centers. These integrations save sellers countless hours logging into their shipping partner portals, locating and exporting the necessary documentation, and sharing that information so the claim can be resolved. By streamlining this process, cases are filed more efficiently and accurately, increasing the likelihood of successful reimbursement. 

    Our DocMaster feature has also been patented. Like the Proof of Delivery documentation, private label sellers and manufacturers must provide Proof of Purchase documentation, or packing slips, to verify the inventory units sent to Amazon’s Fulfillment Centers. This cumbersome process, which impacts nearly 40% of claims filed, requires sellers to manually produce packing slips, increasing the possibility of inaccuracies leading to rejected claims. DocMaster generates such packing slips automatically by gathering shipment data via API. The templates formatted within DocMaster ensure they consistently meet Amazon’s requirements. This patent allows GETIDA to preserve the integrity of the technology and ensures sellers who use it benefit from the most sophisticated solutions in the market to solve their FBA reimbursement needs. 

    In the second half of 2022, GETIDA successfully secured a reimbursement for more than 90% of claims it opened.     It’s important that FBA sellers provide documentation so as not to lose the opportunity to submit a claim for a reimbursement they may be eligible for (each claim has an expiration date).
    The documentation provided must be accurately formatted, with no typos or errors, in order for Amazon to process it; if documentation is not accurately formatted, this will cause the claim to be rejected or its resolution to be delayed.

    GETIDA users report feeling relief as we create new features that help them to expedite the creation and management of documentation. This has been one of the biggest friction points for Amazon sellers who want to maximize their FBA reimbursements.
