Nomination Title: Traci Dolan, CFO leads ExactTarget to its 36th consecutive quarter of growth

1. Tell the story about what this nominee achieved since January 1 2009 (up to 500 words). Focus on specific accomplishments, and relate these accomplishments to past performance or industry norms. Be sure to mention obstacles overcome, innovations or discoveries made, and outcomes:

While the down economy certainly presented challenges to all businesses in 2009,
ExactTarget welcomed tremendous growth, thanks in large part to the efforts of
its chief financial officer, Traci Dolan. In 2009 alone, Dolan served a key role
in maintaining company growth, securing two of the nation’s largest rounds of
venture capital investment, completing the acquisition of London-based Keymail
Marketing and opening a global operation in Europe.

Under Dolan’s financial leadership, ExactTarget posted its 36th consecutive
quarter of growth in Q4 2009, saw annual contracted revenue soar to $114 million
and total GAAP revenue exceed $95 million, as it added NIKE Inc., Best Buy and
Universal Music Group to its client list and secured key client renewals
including Intuit, CareerBuilder, Hitachi Data Systems, Delta Faucet Company and
Farmer’s Insurance.

Dolan was also instrumental in securing more than $140 million in venture
capital investment from blue-chip investors in 2009. In May, ExactTarget secured
$70 million in funding from Battery Ventures, Silicon Valley’s Scale Venture
Partners and repeat investment by Montagu Newhall. And to follow that up, the
firm secured another $70 million in funding in November from Silicon
Valley-based Technology Crossover Ventures, a firm specializing in technology
and software including Netflix, eHarmony, Expedia and Zillow.

While 2009 was a year in which many organizations were forced to scale back in
investment, Dolan helped ExactTarget accelerate investment in smart growth
around the world.

ExactTarget opened its global headquarters in September, following the
acquisition of London-based Keymail Marketing. The expansion has allowed
ExactTarget to support the international needs of its multinational clients and
expand its offerings to marketers in the growing European markets.

In the past five years, Dolan has transformed ExactTarget’s financial operations
contributing to the firm’s 400 percent revenue growth during the period and
placing it as one of the fastest growing technology companies in the nation.

In addition to her role as CFO, Dolan serves as chief administrative officer,
managing ExactTarget's strategic planning and workforce optimization efforts.
Traci’s thoughtful consideration of HR policies has led to the company’s
recognition as one of Indiana’s best places to work for three years. Traci is a
trusted advisor to ExactTarget’s CEO. She embodies ExactTarget’s culture of
entrepreneurship and team, availing herself to talk with and lead employees
throughout the firm, regardless of job title.

Out of the office, Dolan serves on the Board of Directors at Noble of Indiana,
an organization that helps children and adults with developmental disabilities.
She has served as Chair of Techpoint Foundation, an organization that helps
at-risk youth develop the 21st century skills necessary for success in the
global information economy, and has served on the Board of Breaking Free and
Family Social Services Organization. Traci lives in Carmel, Ind. with her
husband Greg and son Christian.
