SydneySM Health is a next-generation member-facing application which simplifies the overall healthcare experience for Anthem members. The Sydney Health mobile app uses artificial intelligence (AI) and predictive analytics to anticipate member needs and provide targeted recommendations.
We’ve made significant strides to guide members towards personalized health programs, drive member engagement and simplify healthcare costs. Key Enhancements to meet these objectives have been met through a range of updated capabilities:
Clinical & Wellness Programs. Sydney helps direct members towards relevant & personalized health resources, set personal goals, and recommend appropriate clinical programs (e.g., diabetes management).
Improved Experience. Members can search for a doctor or health care facility in their plan, view anticipated costs, schedule appointments, view their digital ID card, review and submit claims and make payments.
Virtual Care: Sydney provides a virtual experience that allows doctors to craft a personalized care plan to meet member's individual needs, prescribe medications, adjust dosages, order lab tests, diagnose diseases, and proactively manage a member's chronic conditions, all at a low cost.
Simplify Healthcare Costs. Sydney's "Find Care" enhancements allows for comparison across costs and specialties, and links to low-cost, high-quality doctors for a procedure.
