    Companies worldwide continue to invest heavily in digital technology and infrastructure and Denny Cherry and Associates Consulting (DCAC) is at the forefront. With 80% of its consultants recognized as Microsoft MVPs, an elite global group of technical experts who passionately share their knowledge, and VMware (cloud computing visual technology) and DBA experts, DCAC earned new clients, re-signed clients for additional projects, and consistently grew YOY revenue making the Inc. 5000 List of America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies for four consecutive years. DCAC has an impeccable reputation and extensive expertise in cloud solutions managing data, cost, and security with a friendly, can-do attitude, and recently doubled-down on client outreach. That paid off for DCAC’s bottom line long-term.

    One client, an online ticketing platform, needed critical data every two minutes for consumers to see real-time ticket availability, but the process was so bogged down it was taking 20 hours.     In order to address the continued migration to and maintenance of cloud storage infrastructure, IT providers need to establish trust and provide cost efficiency to succeed, which is where DCAC excels. By proving their expertise that saved a client time, bandwidth, and more than $20k+ dollars/month on server costs, DCAC gained their trust to work in a second area of the company. By listening to another customer’s request for more customized Emergency Response plans, DCAC fine-tuned that aspect of the business and added an additional 5 clients. By training other clients to manage solutions on their own, they earn respect which prompts customers to call – sometimes years later - when new tech issues arise. Those factors ensure DCAC a steady customer-base and long-term growth.

    Not many IT consultants aim to teach their clients to manage the new technology themselves, for fear they’ll lose the revenue stream. What other CEO wants their client to “save money by not paying me?!” But DCAC prides itself on taking the time to show the client what they’re doing, how they’re doing it and what they should be looking for to avoid calling DCAC back for the same issue. For one recent customer who was migrating to the cloud for the first time, that meant sharing their screens and recording all meetings so the in-house tech staff, who had decades of experience with the wires and switches of a physical, on-premises datacenter, could instead understand the clicks of a digital system.

    That care and long-term viewpoint gives those same clients the confidence to reach back out to DCAC and hire them again on separate issues or refer DCAC to colleagues and friends, generating additional clients and securing future revenue.

    DCAC’s reputation as the “experts of the experts” also sets them apart from the field. For the online ticketing client, not only did the DCAC consultants find and implement changes that saved the company time, money and a load of complaints, DCAC also responded to an emergency call when the client accidentally deleted a critical database.
