The platform combines Brandless’ beloved and carefully curated products with the new Brandless Innovation Portfolio, a collection of brands who share the Brandless vision and are joining the platform to accelerate growth, expand reach, and achieve their shared mission.     Brandless is leading the people-as-a-platform movement by building a tech stack that delivers Influence-as-a-service (IaaS)—a platform that supports the belief that everyday people are the ecommerce platform of the future. As part of its innovation to reduce traditional manufacturing and marketing costs, Brandless is now using the next evolution of affiliate marketing to reduce barriers to entry for micro-influencers and increase the freedom and options for all of Brandless’ ambassadors. Individuals and brands can both join the Brandless social selling platform—Brandless then provides them with a social selling link to add to their personal social media. This platform allows people to showcase the products they love and for brands to make people the platform for their company mission. 

    Brandless’ IaaS platform enables customers to quickly and easily develop their own micro-influencer marketplaces—a new tactic for the retail industry. Community has always been at the heart of Brandless’ product development, but now they’re empowering consumers to become personal platforms for good.

    Brandless’ innovation of Influence-as-a-Service (IaaS) is significant because it’s addressing a larger societal issue—building trust with customers. Now more than ever, brands are using deceptive tactics to gain customers' trust. Brandless is changing that by focusing on creating relationships with its customers to be a brand with products that people trust and connect with. 

    Instead of using traditional ambassador and affiliate marketing tactics that focus only on mega-influencers with thousands of followers—IaaS focuses on providing an opportunity for anyone, regardless the size of their social circle, to share the products they trust with the people they trust. This builds lasting relationships between not only the brands and its customers, but between customers and influencers. By creating a platform that allows everyone the opportunity to share the products they love, people are more likely to find new products from the people they already trust, rather than relying on mega-influencers to represent the brand mission.This mission and model moves beyond traditional brand relationships to one where customers become a force for good in accomplishing a mission they feel passionate about.
