CardFinans Trendyol is the first credit card for e-commerce in Türkiye, which we started to offer in August 2023, following our cooperation with Trendyol, a major pioneer in e-commerce in Türkiye.
This is also a digital credit card, which means that once the application is approved by bank, cardholder doesn't have to wait for delivery of a physical card. They simply initiate a video call on QNB Mobile to complete steps to become a bank customer, after which they start to use their card in online and offline shops thanks to mobile contactless / QR code payment technology.
The card has a specifically-designed loyalty program called Trendyol ParaPuan, which enables cardholders to earn and spend points when they shop on Trendyol and to encourage customers to choose Trendyol for e-commerce with CardFinans Trendyol as their payment method. When paying with the card, customers can spend their earned Trendyol ParaPuan with a single click on the payment page and make their purchase for free.
"Purchase in installments" option, which is popular within consumers in inflationary environment is among this card's distinguishing features. It offers an option for interest-free payment in installments on Trendyol purchases. Using QNB Mobile, they can add more installments to their purchase, still interest-free.
CardFinans Trendyol has no annual credit card fees for customers getting their first credit cards. Existing customers can be exempted from annual fee when they participate in "card statement promise" campaign.
Returns are a pivotal element in customer journey in e-commerce.When you want to return a product purchased from Trendyol, amount can be instantly refunded to card with a single click on QNB Mobile, without having to wait for the return to be approved and the transaction to be forwarded to bank.
As a special benefit for launching period, in addition to above-listed ones, customers who applied for this card in August and got their first credit card, won 100 TRY for every transaction of 500 TRY or more they made in Trendyol, and Trendyol ParaPuan gift up to 1,000 TRY in total

What did we accomplish?
CardFinans Trendyol, which was launched under the CardFinans brand, the umbrella brand for QNB Finansbank credit cards, has been designed to consider every aspect of the end-to-end customer experience and successfully integrated to the individual credit card portfolio of the bank as an important element of Trendyol's loyalty ecosystem.
During our TV launch in August, we doubled our card portfolio.
We received positive feedback from our audience and business partners, especially on our social media communications.
At the end of December 2023, we exceeded our sales goal of 200,000 card per year, and reached 350,000.

Our film has reached wide audiences with over 240 million impressions, over 30 million reach, and nearly 1.5 million clicks, thanks to our communications on TikTok, programmatic network and digital channels. Although the general perception of banking and finance is negative, our film got 78% positive feedback.
