As the Business Development Achievement of the year, DHL Express Kenya has been pushing on E-Commerce growth and logistics solutions for all Small and Medium enterprises in Kenya. Under the theme, ‘Power up your potential’, DHL has provided a platform for e-commerce retailers to take their business to the newt level with DHL Express Kenya.

E-Commerce is a main focus of revenue and shipment growth at DHLE Kenya based on the following factors, according to the Metapack – 2016 state of e-commerce delivery consumer research report:

-E-commerce is set to be a $900B industry by 2020
-There are 1.B shoppers online in 2018
-68% of millennials make purchasing orders based on the logistics oprions
-Consumer behavior expects ‘on demand’ speed and delivery in their purchasing options

E-commerce venture in Kenya

Under the hashtag #MadeInKenya, the E-commerce sales team launched their e-commerce campaign catered to e-retailers providing locally-made African items, which attract a large e-customer base. Such e-retailers receive numerous global online orders and are on the search for a reliable logistics partners to deliver. -an estimated global e-commerce sales of $3.4T by 2019
