As consumer demands for personalization reach new heights, brands continue to search for new ways to connect and engage with customers in a unique and meaningful way. While social media platforms are a great way to build brand awareness, they lack in giving brands the data and insights needed to build meaningful engagements and interactions with customers.

Enter Cohora, a transformative platform that empowers companies to establish their own social customer networks, seamlessly integrating with existing brand loyalty, CRM, or CDP platforms. When implemented, the platform becomes an extension of the brand’s ecommerce website and is customized to mirror the precise look and feel of the company. It facilitates consumers in sharing tips, providing reviews, and engaging with each other, fostering genuine interactions that significantly impact business and boost conversions. Through these authentic engagements, users organically promote products to new and targeted audiences, assisting brands in expanding their reach. Simultaneously, users accumulate loyalty points based on their engagement, measured value, and meaningful interactions with the brand, earning rewards in the process.

The company enables brands to collect the critical data that they often lack, zero- and first-party data, through user-generated content or information derived directly from user contributions and responses within the platform. With these insights, the company enables brands to tailor their messaging and offerings to customers based on engagement behavior and customer-provided data to enhance customer experience by personalizing every step of the journey, not just the initial offer.

Built on a foundation of customer-generated content that enables personalization, Cohora nurtures a vibrant community of micro-influencers. Within this community, brands can harness the influence of consumers, encouraging organic engagement, personalization, and communication through a unified hub. This approach enables brands to gain profound insights into the needs, desires, and motivations of consumers, leveraging data-driven intelligence to shift from a transactional focus to a more engagement-driven loyalty model. Cohora fosters both a customer- and brand-centric approach based on transactions and engagements. A mutually beneficial experience for the brand and consumer, Cohora creates a platform that uses data to build meaningful customer experiences and interactions.

According to a Gartner survey, only 42% of marketers use the full range of capabilities available in their martech stack, and 62% of respondents said they have deployed social commerce, or plan to deploy such technology to support their innovative marketing channels. This second finding especially is becoming more important with the recent news that Google has disabled tracking cookies for 30 million Chrome users, with plans to discontinue cookies at the end of the year. With third-party data sources becoming unreliable, brands need access to that zero- and first-party data now more than ever to engage customers.

The Google Chrome change ranks among the most significant in the online advertising industry, and coupled with new privacy regulations, has provided a unique opportunity for Cohora as advertisers and marketers need to discover sources for new, more meaningful data to personalize offers, advertisements and so much more to attract customers. Cohora solves for these problems by permitting even more retention, personalization, and relationship-building through customer-generated content that enables social commerce. By creating an owned customer network within a brand's domain, Cohora delivers a solution that enhances a brand's first-party data with content insights that drives product investment and growth.

In March 2023, Cohora announced the launch of its Brand Customer Network and engagement platform. Following several pilot customer use cases, Cohora now has four customers, helping them launch their own networks to improve customer engagement and deepen the emotional bond between consumers and those brands.
