There’s no doubt the sales function has drastically changed in recent years. More educated buyers, increasingly complex products, and an ever more competitive marketplace mean that B2B reps need to know more than ever about the nuances of their solution offerings. Developed to help sales reps succeed in this competitive environment, Allego is a modern sales learning and coaching platform that ensures reps have the skills and knowledge needed to make the most of each selling situation. Additionally, the Allego mobile app provides reps with access to information on-the-go, allowing them to record and share video-based insights and receive point-in-time feedback from managers anytime, anywhere.

Initially launched in September 2015, Allego has significantly enhanced its platform, helping it to remain one of the top sales learning solutions on the market. Today, nearly 100,000 professionals use Allego across complex industries including financial services, life sciences, and high tech.

Most recent updates include versions 5.0 and 5.1, launched in July and October 2018, respectively. The features added in these versions demonstrate Allego’s commitment to investing in modern learning, a concept that takes advantage of the way the human brain actually learns and retains information to improve training initiatives. Modern learning combines technology, like mobile and video, with cutting-edge learning science to empower reps with continuous access to peer- and corporate-generated content that is reinforced over time. Enhancements in Allego 5.0 and 5.1 include:

AI Speech Transcription (Allego 5.1) automatically transcribes audio into text and offers the ability to include closed captioning during video playback. This AI-based enhancement is critical for learners who are hearing-impaired, prefer to see text along with audio, or are in an environment where text is preferable. Learners can also use search to jump to the precise moments where relevant content is discussed.
Content Expiration Management Tools (Allego 5.1) streamline the process of managing content by allowing team leads and system administrators to set a date on which content that has exceeded its useful life cycle will be automatically retired. Content is not deleted, however, and can be re-shared by system administrators with the required credentials if needed.
Executive, Manager and Team Dashboards (Allego 5.0) let senior leaders, sales managers and trainers view key statistics for their entire team on a single screen, providing them with a snapshot of the status and impact of training programs. Manager performance dashboards also give executives and other senior leaders insight into their managers’ coaching so they can “coach the coach.”
Modern Learning Management Console (Allego 5.0) allows trainers, enablement professionals and admins to create, publish and assign collections like courses, channels and flash drills -- flash-card style quizzes -- to any combination of individuals or groups.

Allego’s popularity with customers has twice earned the company a place on the Inc. 5000, including as the 5th fastest-growing private software company, with three-year growth of 5,401%.
