In the United States, Spanish holds the position of the second most spoken language, contributing significantly to the country's cultural and economic diversity. Despite this, the Latino community often faces disparities in financial literacy compared to their white counterparts. This gap is not just a statistical concern but a real barrier that hinders many from achieving their financial goals.
Recognizing this, we committed to helping bridge this financial literacy gap through the creation of bi-lingual education resources designed specifically for the Latino community. Our program is designed to be a continuous learning journey rather than a one-time intervention. The financial literacy program covers a broad spectrum of topics, from enrollment, budgeting basics and debt management strategies to retirement planning and investment principles.
By eliminating language barriers and tailoring our content to the specific needs of the Latino community, we aim to foster a more inclusive and equitable financial environment. Our overarching goal for participant education is to meet clients where they are, including offering bi-lingual support that spans from enrollment through retirement. As a result, we created a comprehensive program of collateral to support these needs.
We launched our Spanish on-demand enrollment webcast in March 2024. We host this in a console environment that houses the enrollment presentation, links to supporting collateral mentioned in the presentation and enrollment and rollover links.
