    DHL Global Forwarding (DGF) is part of DHL Group with more than 31,000 freight forwarding experts in more than 150 countries worldwide.

    The benefits of international trade come at a high price. The constant flow of goods around the globe drives up greenhouse gas (GHG) levels and contributes to climate change. At DGF, we recognize that the transport sector plays a vital role in fighting global warming and accelerating sustainability across the logistics industry.

    International transport accounts for 14% of global carbon emissions. That figure could double by 2050 if demand for freight shipping continues to rise as expected and no action is taken.

    We understand that there’s no way around sustainable logistics and we are committed to help the world transition to the carbon-free future. But we do not just say we are ‘green’. We deliver.

    One of DHL Global Forwarding's (DGF) communications objectives is centered on promoting our leadership in Sustainable Freight Forwarding and aiding our customers in achieving their sustainability goals. The Sustainability Sales Kit, comprising the Sustainability Guidebook and Brochure, was designed to help achieve these objectives.

    The guidebook provides a clear, step-by-step process for decarbonizing supply chains, addressing common challenges businesses face in reducing their carbon footprint. By presenting a comprehensive yet accessible approach & checklists, it equips companies with the necessary knowledge to evaluate and implement effective carbon reduction strategies tailored to their unique supply chain setups.

    The brochure complements the guidebook by showcasing DGF's expertise and capabilities in sustainability, reinforcing our commitment to net-zero emissions by 2050. It serves as both an informative resource and a persuasive tool for our sales teams, facilitating meaningful conversations with customers about sustainable shipping products.

The kit successfully met our objectives by fostering awareness, providing actionable insights, and encouraging collaborative efforts towards a sustainable future.
