  2. Briefly describe the nominated individual: history and past performance (up to 200 words):

    Jack started as an Account Executive at TransPerfect in 2013, where he was responsible for growing TransPerfect’s Healthcare Practice Group. In this role, he generated over.$1.2 million in his first 16 months by partnering with mid-size health plans in New York and was recognized as TransPerfect’s Breakout Performer in 2014. Jack was also initially responsible for onboarding some of TransPerfect’s first over-the-phone interpretation customers, which included health plans across the country, generating initial revenues of over $2 million annually. He also helped onboard TransPerfect’s first enterprise onsite interpretation client, NewYork-Presbyterian, one of the country’s most esteemed healthcare providers. This service paved the way for TransPerfect to onboard similar clients within the healthcare space, enabling them to provide better access for their patients and members.

    In 2017, Jack began building a healthcare team to scale the healthcare business and drive innovation with TransPerfect’s accessibility and interpretation services. In just over a year, Jack successfully developed three AEs to Director-level roles. In 2019, he was awarded the Excellence in Sales Leadership Award after billing more than $10 million for the year, with each team member also billing over $1 million that year.

    Since then, Jack has become the Sales Division Head for TransPerfect’s Healthcare practice group, continuing to diversify the company’s service offerings. This includes onboarding TransPerfect’s first two enterprise healthcare clients to our contact center programs in the Dominican Republic, which created over 150 jobs and billed more than $3 million in its first year alone. These programs are projected to bill over $5 million in 2024. 

    With evolving healthcare regulations,Jack developed new workflows for same-day translation of materials, enabling TransPerfect to produce materials 30% faster than our next closest competitor. In 2024, these worfklows contributed to a revenue increase of more than $15 million, driving success for both TransPerfect and Jack’s team.

    In 2024, one of Jack’s Directors achieved over 200% of her goal, growing her business by 100% in a single year. Another Account Executive, promoted to Director, reached 130% of her goal and grew her business by 52%. Additionally, another Director grew her business by 300% and has also been nominated as Saleswoman of the Year for the Stevie Awards through these workflows. 

    As Sales Manager, Jack’s team has consistently grown every year since 2017. In 2024, his team was over 130% to goal, with three members ranking in the top 15 for growth and percent-to-goal across the entire company of over 150 salespeople. The healthcare team achieved more than $21 million in growth in a single year,and making it the largest growing vertical by percentage in the organization. 

    Much of this success can be attributed to Jack’s profound understanding of client needs.  Unlike other providers,TransPerfect offers a comprehensive 360-degree member experience, from translating claims and providing over-the-phone interpretation to offering dedicated agent support in English and other languages.  Partnering with health plans at every member touchpoint has been a key driver of the division’s rapid growth.
