UWM LIVE! is a one-of-a-kind sales meeting, and the largest independent mortgage broker event of the year. Hosted at United Wholesale Mortgage’s Pontiac, Michigan, campus, this 2-day, no-cost-to-attend event brought together our clients and their real estate partners from across the country to build relationships, learn best practices and grow professionally.
The event kicked off with a large-scale networking event and the Expo Hall hosted over 50 informational booths, educating attendees on UWM’s tools and technology from product owners. Clients talked to SMEs on topics ranging from building a social media presence to understanding loan process efficiencies.
The second day consisted of-motivational, informative and interactive speaking sessions, moderated by UWM Leadership Coach and former NCAA champion, Mateen Cleaves. The main session featured keynote speaker, Tony Robbins, who tailored his presentation to mortgage brokers, focusing on creating a competitive advantage and brand building. Additionally, UWM’s President and CEO and owner of the Phoenix Suns and Mercury, Mat Ishbia, motivated attendees with a high-energy presentation on the growth of the wholesale channel and concluded with an exciting announcement of two new exclusive UWM technologies developed to help brokers increase efficiencies and grow their businesses. The day also included informative sessions from industry experts, including HGTV’s Tarek El Moussa, and top mortgage brokers from across the nation discussing topics from how to obtain five-star reviews on Google, to understanding perceived value.
