  3. Briefly describe the nominated individual: history and past performance (up to 200 words):

    Total 64 words used.

Chris Lee is a Field Sales Representative for Sales Partnerships, Inc. (SPI), a leading turnkey field-based outsourced sales services provider.

Before joining SPI, Chris has an extensive background in sales, mainly in B2B healthcare and electronics. He joined the organization in December 2022 taking on an unfamiliar role in B2C residential sales. He did it for both the challenge and the generous compensation opportunities.

  4. Outline the nominee's achievements since July 1 2021 that you wish to bring to the judges' attention (up to 250 words):

    Total 187 words used.

Chris maintained an average of almost 240% more orders than monthly quota  for all of 2023 and outperformed his peers in competing channels similarly. His production levels combined with leadership and demonstrating a commitment to ethical sales earned him SPI's highest honor, our Top Gun award.

Chris demonstrates his team leadership by mentoring other members of his team and participation in community engagement activities.

His success is due to a combination of factors. Prior sales positions had only offered limited (or no) sales training. SPI's ongoing sales training programs helped him overcome areas that had previously limited his performance previously in his career. More importantly, he demonstrated a laser focus on becoming a SPI Top Gun. He commented to his manager during onboarding that he had heard about the Top Gun award and set a goal to win it as soon as he was eligible. Normally, Top Gun winners have several years with the company to get to the production levels necessary to compete for the award. Chris is one of only 3 to do so before their second anniversary with SPI in our 26 year history.

  5. Reference any attachments of supporting materials throughout this nomination and how they provide evidence of the claims you have made in this nomination (up to 250 words):

  6. Explain why the achievements you have highlighted are unique or significant. If possible compare the achievements to the performance of other players in your industry and/or to the nominee's past performance (up to 250 words):

    Total 84 words used.

Door to door residential Internet sales is a difficult profession. It requires a combination of empathy and resilience not always present in top sales performers. Chris leverages his skills while keeping both important qualities.

Chris led not only SPI in overall sales but also outpaced every rep for every channel our client has nationwide. Averaging 240% over quota for 2023 (with no months below 125% of quota), he did so with almost 100% customer retention, zero customer complaints, and successful mentoring of his peers.
