25 years ago, Nadeem Ahmad started Templeton with just £5000 savings, and an office in his family’s attic. Nadeem aimed to create a truly diverse, international recruitment agency.

To get global reach in Industry 4.0, companies need tech teams across international hubs. Templeton recruit tech specialists for international businesses across multiple locations, through our own diverse and international team. Templeton work across 40 countries, 70% of our staff originate from outside the UK, and we speak 25 languages.

Nadeem builds new offices and leads Templeton in recruiting tech teams wherever our customers expand. Nadeem legally incorporates and obtains licenses for every new territory Templeton enter, partnering local suppliers to ensure ethical and compliant recruitment.

He has formed offices in 8 countries so far including in 2017 our Frankfurt based GmbH with an AUG licence (Arbeitnehmerüberlassung).

Over the 25 years Nadeem has consistently reinvented Templeton to stay relevant with emerging tech and market trends. Templeton has always been completely self-funded, survived three recessions and achieved solid profits annually since inception. In the past four years, revenue increased by 81%.

In 2021 Templeton won 11 awards, 2 of which were for Nadeem as Business Leader of the Year and Outstanding Entrepreneur

In 2020 Templeton began creating offshore hubs of skilled local IT professionals to provide global companies with immediate access to wider talent pools throughout Covid-19. Templeton quickly legally incorporated in four new global locations to provide global businesses with reliable tech hubs. In 2021 Templeton created Santander’s tech hub of 100+ Polish tech specialists to deliver digital transformation across 14,000 branches worldwide. In 2021 Templeton began supplying multiple tech hubs including China and India to help Shell transform their business into clean energy. Our global partnerships with Santander and Shell opened opportunities internationally: we are now supplying tech specialists for both companies in Germany.

Since 2020 Nadeem grew the German recruitment team to provide faster, higher quality services for German customers. Since 2020 we have helped large global customers increase their tech capabilities in Germany, including Delivery Hero, HP, Reply, Infosys, Orange, Salesforce and Software AG.

Templeton retained employee base, revenue and profit despite Covid-19, and no furloughing and in 2021 increased staff headcount by 25%. We found jobs for 20% more people in 2020 than in 2019. In 2021 Templeton doubled our global office presence from 4 to 8.

In 2021, we recruited 19% more tech professionals in Germany than 2020, despite Brexit and Covid-19. We recruited 54% more tech professionals in Germany between 2019-2022 than the previous three years.

Rather than the typical UK “sales-led” approach, we have made compliance the priority in our service offering particularly to protect our clients against disguised employment risks (Scheinselbstständigkeit)

In 2021, only 15% of Germany’s three main stock market index board executives are female; only 2 of the 179 board members on Germany’s Fortune Global 500 companies are not white. Only 16% of German tech specialists are women. Templeton is 65% female – rare in the tech recruitment industry – with 50% female leadership, and led by Nadeem who is from an ethnic minority background. 30% of our staff are BAME, our team spans 20 nationalities and four generations. We find diverse candidates rewarding careers, help customers serve diverse audiences and drive real change.

99% of recruitment agencies operate in their local market. Our international teams engage tech professionals in their own languages and match them with customers building global teams. Daimler is an interesting current example for us. Their current local suppliers in German can only help them in Germany, but Daimler have a huge need for talent in Romania, Bulgaria and Czechia. Only Templeton can help!
