    Brittany Westling founded Team b. Strategy + in 2011 as a military spouse who wanted to have a career that afforded her the opportunity to contribute to important issues like national security while being able to support her spouse in his role as an active duty service member. She built Team b. as a virtual firm which has grown to have a fun, unique culture and strategic project portfolio that speaks to Team b. as a team and amplifies the things its employees care about. 

    Team b. specializes in strategy, marketing, communications, training, design, and government relations. We are a small, lean company with an agile approach to business that places emphasis on relationships. Our talent pool is overflowing with strategic-minded, excellence-driven, truth-seeking, hard-working, problem-solving, creative people. Team b. works with small businesses, big businesses, government agencies, national laboratories, and non-profits with goals as diverse as their business categories. We help our clients reach their target audiences through awareness and education. The result is clients who are able to engage people, promote ideas, sell products, gain support, and make an impact. We help our clients define objectives, devise strategies, and implement their plans.

    Our entire leadership team is female, and we continue to foster a unique and inviting culture that inspires people to join our team. Team b. developed a corporate action plan that makes anti-racism and inclusion part of our company. We expanded and increased staffing by 50%, received the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), and increased revenue by 75% in the past year. We were awarded our first-ever prime contract direct with the federal government in the national security space. In August 2021, Team b. Strategy + ranked No. 2110 on the 2021 Inc. 5000 List of America's Fastest-Growing Private Companies, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. Team b. also produces “b.better” campaigns at no-cost that serve as educational tools on a variety of relevant topics ranging from Juneteenth, Hispanic Heritage Month, Black History Month, voting, working from home, office holiday party etiquette, cyber hygiene, supporting small businesses, and more.  Team b’ers contribute their time, talents, and resources to give back to the community through an annual philanthropy project supporting Soldiers’ Angels Adopt-a-Family program.

    In the strategic communications field, having a prime contract direct with the federal government puts us out in front of our competitors as we seek contract opportunities to engage new clients in the federal space. We work hard to protect and preserve our creative and unique corporate culture where employees feel valued. Team b continues to contribute in a meaningful way to important national security issues and is consistently praised by their federal clients for going above and beyond in delivery.
