Nomination Title: Kymberly Robinson, CEO

Describe for the judges the activities and accomplishments of the nominated executive since the beginning of July last year (up to 500 words):

Kymberly Robinson’s professional passion is helping clients engage audiences through an innovative blend of interactive and traditional marketing channels. Her work with clients in the education, pharmaceutical, healthcare and business services industries has resulted in the development and execution of highly successful and award-winning marketing strategies. As recognition for a career full of successes, she was most recently named one of Philadelphia Business Journal's 2012 Top 40 Under 40 business professionals. Chosen from thousands of nominees including local celebrities, community activists, C-level executives, and entrepreneurs, this honor is truly impressive.

2011 and 2012 have been particularly exciting years for Kymberly. During this time she’s played an integral role in changing the personal healthcare landscape, spearheading marketing campaigns for two clients within the healthcare space. Kymberly’s work with MD Aligne has brought a revolutionary medical care concept to life, allowing sufferers of non-acute symptoms and conditions to receive a doctor’s diagnosis and prescription over the phone or online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This ground-breaking new service is available to everyone, insured or uninsured, at affordable prices that make quality doctor care accessible to anyone in the country.

Equally note-worthy is her work with ADFLOW Health Networks through which a once underused, self-serve drugstore blood-pressure cuff was lucratively transformed into a state-of-the-art health kiosk adopted by Wal-Marts throughout the nation. These extraordinary machines not only provide valuable, potentially life-saving information to consumers, but also offer advertisers a targeted vehicle that customizes coupons, discounts and offers for individual kiosk patrons.
Kymberly’s efforts with MD Aligne and ADFLOW have truly empowered people to take charge of their health and well-being.

Kymberly is also an involved community supporter. Leveraging her two businesses as a vehicle to find additional community activism opportunities, she recently joined the West Chester Chamber of Commerce. As co-founder/CMO of Boxcar Brewing Company (BBC), Kymberly has developed, implemented, and promoted fundraisers including a bi-annual Ride the Rails event benefiting the non-profit, volunteer-supported West Chester Railroad. She also developed a BBC initiative called Community Supported Beer, helping local charities by donating proceeds from sales of specialty “one-off” brews to those organizations. Past charities include the West Chester Railroad, the Teddy Bear Project at West Chester University, and the Colonial Plantation in Ridley, PA. This month’s seasonal Boxtoberfest benefits The Rotary Club of West Chester. Always the forward-thinker, Kymberly and Boxcar recently launched maybe their most exciting venture yet; a Community Supported Pub. In spring 2013, Boxcar will open the doors to an exciting new brewpub concept; a neighborhood haunt that offers patrons a spot as “Home Brewer of the Month”. Each month, a winner can brew a “one-off” beer to be sold at the Pub. Proceeds from sales of this brew will be donated to local charities, further promoting Kymberly’s passion for community.

For Kymberly Robinson, the wheels are always turning, sometimes at break-neck speed, but at the end of the day, her ideas drive greatness. And that’s something her clients and her community never stop appreciating.
