Our experts excel at delivering fully integrated solutions that shape perception, build momentum and ignite change. Founded in 2006 and headquartered in Chicago’s Edison Park neighborhood, Morreale brings unrivaled experience at all levels of media, government, business and politics. We serve clients across a variety of sectors including mobility and transportation, infrastructure, health and wellness, energy and utilities, and public affairs. Our specialty areas include strategic messaging and storytelling, public involvement and education, media relations, branding and creative strategy, policy advocacy, and crisis and issue management.  

    As a certified WBE/BEP business, Morreale harnesses diverse perspectives for superior outcomes. In the past five years, the woman-owned firm’s total workforce has grown by 400 percent. Today, the agency is led by a 100% female and minority executive team and powered by a workforce of 28 full-time employees – 86% of whom represent women and underrepresented groups. An ongoing commitment to innovation and inclusivity has been foundational to the firm’s 16 years of proven success.

    Morreale has seen significant growth in the pursuit of client satisfaction and communications excellence. Revenue has increased by 21 percent thus far year-over-year (2021-2022) and over 80 percent year-over-year in the previous period (2020-2011).  

    The agency recently expanded from two divisions to five in support of its growing client base – evidenced by a nearly 60 percent increase between 2020 and 2021, an increase of over 40 percent thus far in 2022, and an overall client retention rate of 95 percent. Part of this expansion includes the firm’s emerging healthcare practice, which earned 2021 Stevie Awards in two categories for its innovative COVID-19 response campaigns, and a 400 percent increase in functional staff to meet demand for branding, video and digital needs.  

    Overall, the firm has seen annual workforce growth of 30 percent, with an expanding presence in Springfield and more than 10 new full-time employees projected by 2023.  

    In the midst of this momentum, the agency remained committed to creating valuable career opportunities for women and minority groups. Morreale Communications’ total workforce is comprised of 86 percent women and minority professionals, and leadership consists of 100% female and minority executives.  

    In the past year, 39% of team members have been promoted – 73 percent of whom were elevated to Director-plus roles to ensure ample support for this fast-growing team. All the while, Morreale Communications has continued to raise the bar as an authority on value-driven service.

The achievements above reflect a commitment to maintaining operational efficiency while scaling in a way that prioritizes client success and workforce development. The accolades that our newer practices and capabilities have received in this brief period of accelerated change only affirm that our nimble, strategic approach to growth is a world-class initiative. Where other key players may find it challenging to pivot in response to increasing demand, our organization has done so while keeping core principles like diversity and inclusion in mind. This careful regard for creating an inclusive culture along the way is unique, as it seeks to close opportunity gaps for underrepresented populations and change the landscape of the communications workforce. 

    The 16-time award winning agency has earned national and global accolades, including the Hermes Creative Awards, the Stevie Awards, PRSA’s Chicago Skyline Awards; and American Council of Engineering’s Engineering Excellence Awards.
