Stephanie Wernick Barker is an approachable, no-nonsense leader who values authenticity, transparency, and believes that communication is the key to life. When it comes to Stephanie's time at Mondo, she's seen and done it all. Starting out as a recruiter, she quickly rose in the ranks to take over as Mondo's President in 2019. More importantly, as a result of the importance she placed on improving company culture, Mondo has improved retention by 17%, grown its headcount by 25%, and boosted its diversity by 13%. Steph led the charge early on the pandemic to transition Mondo's 200+ person workforce to a fully remote setting. Throughout this transition, Stephanie doubled down on being a transparent leader and meeting Mondo’s workforce where they were at. This translated to a renewed emphasis on internal coaching and development to become a more specialized resource to our clients to help them overcome the unique staffing challenges presented by the changing employment landscape.
