| Winners Announced in 2004 American Business Awards
The unsung heroes of the business world - from support staffers to sales teams - basked in the spotlight last night as The 2nd Annual American Business Awards bestowed honors on more than 100 ordinary Americans for their great performances in the workplace on Monday, May 10.
The Stevie Awards were presented in two ceremonies at the Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers in New York City. More than 600 people from across the United States attended the gala ceremonies, which were hosted by CNNfn news personalities Rhonda Schaffler and Ali Velshi.

Women Entrepreneurs to Be Honored in New Stevies Program
Advanta Corp. is the exclusive sponsor of The 2004 Stevie Awards for Women Entrepreneurs, the newest Stevie Awards competition. The competition is designed to recognize the accomplishments of women small business owners in the United States.
A Call for Entries for the competition has been issued, for categories ranging from Entrepreneur of the Year and Company of the Year to Best Community Involvement Program and a Lifetime Achievement Award. Entries will be accepted beginning June 1, and the entry deadline is June 30. All U.S.- based women-owned businesses with up to 100 employees are invited to enter. Nextel Tabbed as Most Likely to Win 2005 "Best Multinational Company"
April's Stevie Awards Survey question was, "Which company will win the Stevie for Best Multinational Company in The 2005 International Business Awards?" Of the choices offered, Nextel Communications was tops with 17.5%, followed by Coca-Cola with 13.3%.
