Management Dynamics co-founders Alison Grieve and Jenni Miller are sought-after leadership and skill development experts, renowned for their entrepreneurial energy and ability to create differentiated digital learning experiences that drive measurable results, transform company cultures and develop people and teams to the highest possible standard in the most effective way.
Alison and Jenni first met in 2006 whilst running their own businesses and quickly discovered they shared a fascination for how the greatest leaders and teams think, act, behave. By 2016 and several crossed paths later, they seized the opportunity to combine their aligned vision and 25+ years of business and HR experience to make a bigger difference working together than they could have ever achieved independently. Disillusioned by the glut of rigid, uninspiring cookie cutter courses on offer, they co-founded Management Dynamics with a mission to pioneer meaningful and dynamic learning solutions focused on empowering people and organisations to make a great, lasting impact on the world.
With a fast growing global reputation and a blueprint for success, their small but mighty start-up has supersized to [REDACTED FOR PUBLICATION] and is catalysing world class performance for 24+ businesses of all shapes and sizes, including international powerhouses, Pepsico, AstraZeneca and Pandora.
- Outline the organization's achievements since July 1 2020 that you wish to bring to the judges' attention (up to 250 words):
Alison and Jenni uniquely specialise breaking down organisational silos and unleashing radical cultural transformation to help businesses adapt and survive in an increasing VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous) world:
NATO's technology and cyber experts NCI Agency appointed Management Dynamics to improve joined-up practice and interpersonal communication between teams of civilian and military staff working in a changing environment, enabling employees to continue developing despite the pandemic.
They created a series of live-online, bespoke soft skills programmes delivered to 731 participants over 69 workshops. Their extraordinary ability to understand and interpret the unique needs of such a vital organisation has prompted two further leadership programmes, participant scores of 4.7/5, and high engagement from senior managers:
“What amazes me most is their quality to listen and translate the requirements into concrete actions, very often innovative.”
Organisational Transformation Manager, NATO Communications and Information Agency
Applying their unique, proprietary, high performance team diagnostic tool ‘Advantycs’ to help global jewellery brand, Pandora, they unlocked the potential of 27 teams and leaders via the power of data. By measuring, managing and improving team performance, Pandora’s team diagnostics have improved by 10% in only 6 months, outperforming team development in other organisations on 4/5 team dynamics we measure. There’ve been excellent cultural outcomes;
“Our leaders have responded overwhelmingly positively to the program, formed strong and trusting relationships with their coaches and already seen significant improvements in their ability to lead their teams successfully and sustainably.” Michelle Wilkinson, Chief Talent Officer, Pandora
