For a full decade Cynthia has successfully hosted women’s empowerments twice a year in cities across the country.

This fall, Little Pink Book celebrated its 10th year at its Fall Empowerment in November! It is truly a landmark and a tribute to all the hard work and dedication that Cynthia has put into doing what she loves, working for the advancement of women!

The event held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Buckhead, GA, featured networking and panel discussion from Atlanta’s top business leaders. Panelists included Cheryl Bachelder, CEO, Popeyes; Erika James, Dean, Goizueta Business School, Emory; Jan Singer, CEO, Spanx; Pam Joseph, Vice Chair, U.S. Bancorp, Carol Tome, CFO, The Home Depot and Kate Gutmann, SVP Worldwide Sales and Solutions, UPS. With 600 women in attendance, guests were inspired by the success stories of panelists, and got to hear advice on how to make it to the top in a business world still heavily dominated by men. And, while the panel encourages women to remain confident and focused, they also insist we “remember the human side.” And, most importantly, keep other women in mind.

This June, Cynthia put together PINK’s Spring Recipe for Success Event. Focused on women in the food service industry, Cynthia gathered the top industry professionals to tell their stories. Keynote speaker Kat Cole, President of Cinnabon Inc. shared her entrepreneurial success story starting as a Hooter’s hostess and rising up the ranks in the food service industry. Panelists included Anne Quatrano, owner of Floataway Café, Bacchanalia, Abattoir and Star Provisions; Andra Hall, CamiCakes Cupcakes Owner; Sharmeen Hawkins, Soar Hospitality Group President and COO; and Jennifer Johnson, The General Muir and West Egg Cafe Owner. The audience also had the chance to sample cuisine from top restaurant owners in town, meet the owners themselves, and network.

Cynthia continually advocates for women’s advancement and letting the issue be known. Just last week, Cynthia appeared on CBS’s Public Affairs on Peach to discuss Women’s empowerment in the workplace, she has also appeared on several other TV stations to discuss Women’s advancement. She recently spoke to the women of Chrysler in Detroit in June, encouraging them to speak up and stand out!
