Describe for the judges the activities and accomplishments of the nominated entrepreneur since the beginning of July last year (up to 525 words):

Linda’s Stuff is the largest and most successful online consignment seller of designer fashion on eBay worldwide. Today, the company has amassed over $25MM in annual sales. The consignment juggernaut recently expanded its existing headquarters in metro Philadelphia to support the company’s rapid growth in March 2015. The expansion to 93,000 square feet represents a net gain of 21,000 sq. ft. from the company’s previous footprint of 72,000 sq. ft.

The added space will allow for expansion in a number of key departments including photography, authentication, shipping and receiving. Linda’s Stuff currently employs 110 people, including 25 full time staff photographers, 12 certified authenticators, 40 listing experts and ships an average of 40,000 packages monthly.

Linda’s Stuff lists over 140,000 unique items daily on eBay and also offers a curated selection of the highest end items at shoplindasstuff.com. She also works with luxury retailers to sell their excess inventory—items listed as “new with tags”. With over 2,000 items shipped to buyers daily, Lightman works with professional authenticators to validate each item she lists.

Looking forward, Linda’s Stuff looks to expand its mobile footprint and invest in technology that further optimizes the customer experience.

Provide a brief biography of the nominated entrepreneur (up to 125 words):

Former labor and employment attorney, Linda Lightman started Linda’s Stuff fifteen years ago out of her home. After cleaning out her kids’ rooms over a school vacation break, Linda decided to try selling her sons' old video games on eBay. She sold all of the games immediately and was instantly hooked on selling, which led her to test the waters with her own clothes, handbags and shoes—the rest, as they say, is history.

Linda has become synonymous with luxury consignment, and is widely regarded as the most profitable seller of fashion and accessories on eBay. Linda also is an active philanthropist, and has worked with celebrities such as American pop singer Paula Abdul, auctioning items on Linda’s Stuff to benefit various charities.
