The company publishes a weekly online magazine (12,000 registered users) and has two websites (60,000 visitors per year).

It runs six yearly awards - Magic Circle Awards, International Financial Centre Awards, Powerwomen Awards International, Powerwomen Awards USA, Brand Management & Reputation Awards, Tomorrow Club Awards – established to recognise the best wealth professionals in different categories.

In further support of the wealth management industry, Citywealth created clubs offering networking events - Tomorrow Club to mentor those in their first/second job, WP Club for established wealth professionals, Crypto Club for crypto investment professionals. They meet four times a year.

In addition, the annual Citywealth Forum explores a variety of topics of interest to the wealth industry debated by government statespersons and global thought leaders within a geopolitical context.

Citywealth also offers a unique online search tool, Leaders List, to find the best independently verified wealth advisors.

Karen Jones has so far won nine Stevie awards and a Business Woman of the Year award from the London Chamber of Commerce SME Business Awards 2024

  4. Outline the organization's achievements since the beginning of last year that you wish to bring to the judges' attention (up to 250 words):

The first Citywealth Powerwomen Awards, launched in 2014 and taking place in London every year since, were extended to the USA in 2023. These awards had been established to recognise the outstanding achievements of women and support their career progression within the wealth management sector, an industry traditionally difficult for women to break into.

Encouraged by the increasing amount of traffic on the Citywealth website from the USA, Karen undertook research trips to the United States prior to extending the awards to the biggest wealth management market in the world. Due to keen demand, Karen was ready to launch Powerwomen Awards USA and the first event took place in March 2023 in New York City. Open to both individuals and companies who support female leadership and diversity within the wealth management sector, such giants of the corporate world as Bank of America, Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan and Citigroup amongst others, won awards for championing women’s leadership within their organisations. 70 high profile women from the wealth management sector attended the event including the head of JP Morgan.

The awards pride themselves at not being exclusively for women. They are supported by many leading male wealth professionals such as Joshua Rubenstein, attorney and head of New York based international law firm Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP for example, who sponsored the awards in 2023 and 2024. The awards took place in the heart of Manhattan, in the prestigious building of Deutsche Bank Centre overlooking Rockefeller Centre.

  5. Explain why the achievements you have highlighted are unique or significant. If possible compare the achievements to the performance of other players in your industry and/or to the organization's past performance (up to 250 words):

    Total 147 words used.

The Citywealth Powerwomen USA are significant as they are the extension of well-established and proven awards that have been tested for over ten years in London. They are the result of many years of research undertaken with academics from the London School of Economics and London University, who had advised founder Karen Jones to include men at all levels - as champions, mentors and judges. Promoting male contribution - integrating genders and not separating them – was the guiding principle behind the initiative.

Promoting male contribution has been a very successful initiative. As men still hold the majority of senior corporate positions, their support has been of immense value.

Karen has always been at the forefront of the inclusivity and diversity movement and the Powerwomen Awards International in London and now the Powerwomen USA are further testimony to her dedication of helping women along their career paths.
