Describe for the judges the activities and accomplishments of the nominated entrepreneur since the beginning of July last year (up to 525 words):

Kristina McCoobery is co-founder and Managing Partner of inVNT, a global brand communications agency that collaborates with brands and organizations to create remarkable moments that stir emotions, and challenge convention, mindsets, competitors and the market.

Kristina and five partners believed that that there was a smarter and stronger way to design and produce brand communications for their clients, so in 2008 with little more than a vision and a handshake, inVNT was formed. Challenging conventional wisdom, they set out to build a global brand, with offices and inVNTrs around the world. Through meetings and events, a wide range of creative services, media, and digital and brand environments, inVNT enhances and supports brand messaging for many of the largest companies and trade organizations in the world.

Since inVNT's inception, Kristina has been the company’s leading revenue producer, managing partnerships with corporations like PepsiCo, SC Johnson, Subway, Merck and Genentech. In the past year she has personally produced over six million dollars of business, and under her leadership has secured high-profile projects and wins for the agency. A recent example of work produced is the successful #PepCity in New York City during Super Bowl 2014, which received numerous press coverage and continues to be recognized for awards.

In 2013/2014 inVNT has been recognized in Advertising Age, Annual Agency Report, Crain’s NY Fast 50 List, Event Marketer, It List 100 Top Agencies in North America, Special Events Magazine, Biz Bash Best Agencies, Exhibitor Magazine, 2014 Corporate Event Awards, The American Business Awards 2013, Gold and Bronze for Best New Product Introduction Event and Best Brand Experience, The American and International Business Awards 2014, (as below) Inc Magazine’s 500/5000 list with a three year growth of 167%, and numerous other accolades for leadership and growth.

Kristina’s personal work was recognized in the Event Design Awards 2013 for Best Brand Pavilion for PepsiCo’s Gatorade Super Bowl Media Center, Smart CEO Magazine as a Brava Award winner for leadership and most recently The American Stevie Awards, Best Brand Experience, Live Events, Silver and the International Business Awards for PepsiCo #PepCity, winning the Gold for Best Brand Experience (Non-Europe).

In August 2013, Kristina became inVNT’s Head of Operations, responsible for implementing all strategic and business objectives and maintaining the company’s strong values, unique culture and ambitious vision. Kristina’s leadership skills and impeccable efficiency and efficacy – a hallmark of her successful 20-year producing career – are integral to her new role supervising business reporting, information flow and program budgets, and the planning and direction of internal operations.

As the only female member of the inVNT leadership board, McCoobery is a strong advocate and supporter for young women, working tirelessly to promote equality as well as fair hiring, promotion and pay practices. She has been instrumental in creating inVNT’s progressive workplace with an unlimited leave policy, 100% medical, dental and optical benefits, a 401k plan, and a leadership equity grant plan that allows employees to receive inVNT stock.

inVNT is delighted to have a formidable, female leader like Kristina that drives results and moves the agency forward, and we appreciate your consideration of her nomination for the 2014 Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
