Headquartered in Pune, Indus is present in 65 cities with 100 hospital partners & diagnostics centers across states. Indus has been accredited with many national/international awards.

Ms. Kanchan Naikawadi, has brought healthcare services available, affordable and available to one and all. Her strategy involves initially exposing the society to this type of solution and then increasing the share of voice within the societies we are present, within the discussions on health and within the media. We look forward to conduct more seminars and various other above-the-line activities, making it a 360 degree approach involving advertising, online, as well as non-media events to reach out audiences directly. We plan to invest heavily in these media and also concentrate on electronic medium in the next few months. Our regular participation in health seminars, exhibitions and symposiums across India enables us to reach out with our mission on preventive health care to one and all.

Solution - Our mentors, Dr. Charudutt Apte, Chairman of Sahyadri Hospitals and Mr. Sadanand Bapat, Executive Director Finance Sahyadri Hospitals literally supported us during this period and did not allow our spirits to flag. Gradually within 6 months all the hard work and perseverance in conducting the seminars across Pune city started to bear fruit. Family and friends chipped in with their support and word of encouragement. Clients started to trickle in and gradually service providers started to look up to our model with respect.

Time to implement the initiative – It was in 2000 when we started with only 8 employees. It took us 14 years to reach out to 5lakh satisfied families in 17 states with 100 plus centres in 65 cities across India. We have also outreached our program now towards GCC as well with conversations starting in Dubai, Oman and Bahrain to begin with. Today on the 15th year of journey we continue to outreach to our customers and spread the word of prevention across in mind of many.

Details - Since there is a huge gap yet to be filled and with increase in the number of deaths and detections of lifestyle diseases, the solutions that we propose and practice are still less compared to the larger picture of the health statistics in India. However, the innovative address to the society has helped us reach to a huge geographical spread. When we started in 2000, the awareness on preventive healthcare was very less. Even today thought we have achieved lots, the biggest challenge is to spread awareness. We have reached out to around 1 million families through our below-the-line activities. Through marketing, we have been able to reach a good share of the markets where we exist, but this is an ongoing process.
