Hybrid Mom: Resources for Professional Moms. We are an online community
connecting moms on the things that matter most – family, lifestyle & workstyle.
This year we launched an e-commerce marketplace on our site (hybridmom.com)
whereby women can sell products and services. This is a revolutionary way for
moms to re-imagine work. Are you a website designer, a coach, or PR whiz? Sell
your services in our marketplace and work on your terms, and on your time. Moms
can also sell products and promote utilizing a strong social media platform.
We also launched a huge fundraiser for the Washington Community Alliance for
Self-Help. This organization has helped over 900 businesses, the majority of
them women-owned, succeed. These women want to start a business to support their
family, but at 200% below poverty line are considered "unbankable" by
traditional lenders. Hybrid Mom says "Go for it! We know you can do it!" and we
are on a mission to help these women succeed.
On top of raising capitol, we will utilize our marketplace as the online
component to give these women an increased change of support and exposure.

Hybrid Mom was conceived in 2006 and came into the world in the same way most
babies do, not without struggle, but full of excitement, joy and love. Our
motivation and passion is to create one authentic, inspiring, and reliable
resource for the multiple roles today’s mom plays - loving parent, unique individual
and business-minded person. The management team is composed of four moms that
are passionate about helping women succeed.
Originally, both a magazine and an online presence,
Hybrid Mom moved solely to the HybridMom.com digital format early in 2010 in
order to reach a wider audience, build a substantial and supportive community
for Hybrid Moms to connect, while providing up-to-the minute content updates.
The HybridMom.com experience consists of:
• Daily content including featured articles to enrich work, family, personal
and social lives
• Blogs and interactive forums written and hosted by parenting and industry experts
