Mary Van Orman has been instrumental in building a start-up team and launching the Dawn House sleep system, the first brand under Ergomotion's Wellness Division to promote healthy aging and recovery through a pioneering sleep product. Mary brings passion and extensive experience in senior living to support Dawn House’s focus on the needs of adults as aging or medical conditions change their needs. Her years of sales and operational executive experience with Levi Strauss & Co influenced her development of the Dawn House team, product research, processes and implementation.

Dawn House has also been recognized as a must-have sleep product by Medium, one of the coolest tech products of CES 2023 by House Beautiful, the best adjustable bed for seniors by The Sleep Doctor, and one of 2023’s top problem-solving products by tech and innovation expert, Steve Greenberg. Mary has skillfully represented the Dawn House brand, sharing her expertise as a thought leader on the following: The FAM podcast, Aging Today podcast, and as a panel speaker at the Furniture Today Bedding Conference. She has also led the Dawn House team to increase retail locations, 900% YoY and overall sales for the Wellness Division over 900%. While starting from zero early last year this has shown remarkable success in the acceptance and growth of the product.

In an industry still primarily dominated by male professionals, Mary Van Orman stands out as a female leader and an example of the importance of having women in management roles. Mary reflects the target customer for this industry, while her leadership example supports the growth of diversity in management teams. Until recently, the industry has been slow to innovate. Mary’s direction and leadership led to the development of a purposefully assembled team, the right product research, and the successful launch of an innovative new product for a consumer base that has been given little focus. She represents the future of sleep and health for the consumer and our industry.
