Describe for the judges the activities and accomplishments of the nominated executive since the beginning of July last year (up to 525 words):

During 2014, Debbie's articles, "Six Regulatory Pitfalls Mortgage Lenders Should Avoid" and “The Best ‘Recipe’ for Preparing for a CFPB Examination" were published in National Mortgage News. Additionally, she was quoted in a Mortgage Daily article "Mortgage compliance service provider offerings" and interviewed for Inside Counsel's article "Building from without and from within". She also serves as the Producer for Digital Risk's rock band "Breaking LUSY", which plays at venues in Florida, DC and various other mortgage industry conferences. Debbie was the creator and promoter of the "Banker Bands Bash" in conjunction with the National MBA Conference in October 2013. Debbie also served as a Mentor for Digital Risk's 2014 Women Who Mean Business Mentoring Luncheon. Lastly, Debbie serves as the founder and coordinator of the Digital Risk Legal Internship Program, an in-house corporate law program with up to 10 law student interns each semester from schools countrywide.

As far as client and product/service achievements, Debbie has driven multitudes of corporate contracts over the past year, including NDAs, MSAs and SOWs, through the sale stage to closing stage, thereby securing significant business growth for the company. Debbie was also instrumental in the development, growth and sale of the company's "Governance, Risk and Compliance" platform that is marketed to SIFIs and financial institutions.

As far as project implementations and process improvements over the past year, Debbie was responsible for developing the model for the company's new compliance program governing Digital Risk's parent company's (Mphasis, a subsidiary of HP) business in the United Kingdom. She also significantly reduced costs by restructuring the model of origination licensing, revisiting the spans of control in each team, to reduce the need of individual employee licensing, renewals and continuing education. This, in turn, reduced the cost of licensing to the company by over 50%.

Debbie Hoffman is the Chief Legal Officer at Digital Risk, headquartered in Orlando, FL, overseeing the operation of Digital Risk’s legal, compliance, risk and licensing functions. Debbie is responsible for corporate governance, legal compliance of the subsidiaries and lines of business, preparation and negotiation of legal agreements, legal regulatory issues and evaluating the company’s exposure to risk. Debbie is responsible for client projects that require legal expertise and review. Prior to joining Digital Risk, Debbie served as a real estate finance attorney at Thacher Proffitt & Wood, LLP, and was a professor at Florida A&M College of Law and University of Central Florida, College of Business. Debbie holds a Bachelor's from University of Michigan and Juris Doctor from Albany Law School of Union University.
