Since 2007, CareerPlug has provided easy-to-use software that helps franchises, business networks, and multi-location businesses hire and retain the right people to grow their brands. Additionally, CareerPlug donates over $60,000 worth of free software annually to nonprofits, supporting their hiring needs and enabling them to further their missions.
Philanthropy has been a core tenet of CareerPlug's business operations since its inception. At both the company and individual employee levels, giving back to communities is central to CareerPlug's identity.

When a client makes their first hire, CareerPlug celebrates by planting a tree through its partnership with WeForest. Since 2019, CareerPlug and WeForest have planted 19,677 trees in Zambia’s Copperbelt. Approximately 74% of those trees have been planted between July 2022 and July 2024 (14,523).
At the beginning of 2024, CareerPlug set a goal to plant 2,400 trees by July 1st. As of July 2024, CareerPlug has planted 2,905 trees thanks to clients making their first hires.
As of May 2024, CareerPlug provides over $60,000 worth of software a year to 21 non-profit organizations. Each nonprofit is given a free Premium subscription to hire for their staffing needs.
One of the organizations that benefits from CareerPlug’s software is EcoRise, a woman-led nonprofit that develops curriculum for schools to teach kids K-12 how to care for the earth sustainably. CareerPlug’s sustainability achievements are significant because they demonstrate how a business and its clients can join forces to make environmental progress. They also show how CareerPlug connects business growth, client success, and sustainability to each other.
It’s also evident that CareerPlug’s partnership with WeForest has gained momentum over the past two years. Before July 2022, CareerPlug had planted a little over 5,000 trees. Fast forward to July 2024, and the number of trees planted has nearly quadrupled.
Beyond these achievements, CareerPlug has fostered a culture that will continue to empower clients and employees to make a positive impact on the world.
