BH Compliance was co-founded in Chile over a decade ago by CEO Susana Sierra, and in 2021, it expands to the United States with an office in Miami.
The company offers two products, Comply Pulse and G-Metrix, which measure the effectiveness of corporate governance components, allowing companies to evaluate and verify the effectiveness of their best practices through technological tools and an expert team. They ensure that the compliance programs implemented by companies and the sustainable actions of corporate governance are real and meet regulatory requirements.
Today, companies have been pressured by consumers, investors, regulators, and stakeholders in general to implement sustainable practices in line with ESG criteria. For this, it is essential to have strong corporate governance capable of understanding the importance of ESG holistically, but especially the "G" as a starting point for the success of the "E" and "S." In 2021, BH Compliance's CEO, Susana Sierra, led the company's expansion into the United States, aiming to offer corporate governance measurement services to North American companies (headquarters) with subsidiaries in Latin America.
Furthermore, in early 2022, BH Compliance incorporated blockchain technology into its Compliance monitoring service to ensure the integrity of the collected data, provide greater transparency and traceability to the information, and enable companies to ensure they are doing everything possible to prevent corruption.
In November 2022, BH Compliance launched G-Metrix with the belief that the "G" in the ESG criteria for governance should be the first step for companies to truly advance sustainability and be part of the changes demanded by the current world.
G-Metrix helps measure a company's adherence to the five pillars of corporate governance, which include the effectiveness of its board of directors, executive compensation and remuneration, risk and crisis management, stakeholder relations, and ethics and transparency.
BH Compliance, through its CEO Susana Sierra, has participated in relevant international events such as the IX Summit of the Americas, panel "Technology Delivers: Anticorruption and Transparency" (Los Angeles, 2022), and The World Economic Forum: 2022 Forum of Young Global Leaders Annual Summit Intellect and Insight Leadership/Workshop (Geneva, 2022).
