  1. Outline the nominee's achievements since July 1 2020 that you wish to bring to the judges' attention (up to 250 words):

    Total 247 words used.

Anuvia recently announced a significant round of new funding allowing it to rapidly scale U.S. production of its bio-based fertilizer. With consumers, regulators, and the public pushing for more sustainable food production methods, Anuvia is focused on rapidly increasing manufacturing capacity of its field-ready bio-based plant nutrient system. Anuvia’s SymTRX is already in commercial use on U.S. farms, with use expected to reach 20 million acres by 2025.

Biologicals are the future for sustainable agriculture and Amy has led her team in negotiating a partnership with one of the world’s largest companies in the sector, Novozymes, the world leader in biological solutions. The collaboration with Novozymes will bring advanced technology to plant nutrition by marrying Novozymes microbial solutions to Anuvia’s sustainable bio-based products and proprietary delivery system. This technology will further increase yield and ROI at no incremental cost to the grower while reducing nutrient loss and farming’s environmental footprint.

Additionally, Amy led the key expansion of Anuvia’s environmentally friendly facility in response to increased demand for Anuvia's biobased sustainable and environmentally friendly plant nutrients. This new facility created more than 135 new jobs with an average salary of $70,000 and allowed Anuvia to increase production capacity to up to 1.2 million tons (from 50,000 tons annually). This is enough to feed 20 million acres of crops and would have the effect of removing 500,000 cars from the road in perpetuity – a huge transformation for our country and our world.

    Total 124 words used.

Amy is a changemaker in the male-dominated world of commercial agriculture. A sixth-generation farmer and proven leader, Amy spearheads Anuvia's charge to sustainably feed a growing population while fighting climate change. She has raised $190 million for the company in less than 24 months. Amy was also recently recognized as one of Orlando Business Journal’s 2022 Women Who Mean Business, inspiring others to make an impact.  After joining Anuvia in 2015, Amy immediately recognized how the company's technology (still in development at the time) could be applied to mainstream agriculture by changing the way crops are nourished. Amy has coupled her personal drive to preserve the earth with her understanding of the financial realities of the agriculture industry to form her strategy for Anuvia.

  6. Explain why the achievements you have highlighted are unique or significant. If possible compare the achievements to the performance of other players in your industry and/or to the nominee's past performance (up to 250 words):

    Total 110 words used.

Agriculture is facing unprecedented supply chain disruptions which are pushing fertilizer prices to record highs, affecting prices from field to table. There has never been a greater need for sustainable bio-based fertilizer such as Anuvia's. While it can take nature up to two years to convert manure into usable nutrients, Anuvia’s patented technology can achieve the same feat in just minutes. By simply swapping traditional synthetic fertilizer for Anuvia’s bio-based nutrients, commercial growers can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 32%.  What’s more, Anuvia’s products significantly increase yield while also improving long-term soil health. Additionally, Anuvia's production is entirely U.S.-based, ensuring supply-chain security for North American growers.
