    2MamaBees launched in October 2021 through one online retailer, The Tot.  In just under three years 2MamaBees is now sold in over 80 retailers including Target, Walmart, Sam’s Club, Wayfair and Saks5thAve despite spending less than $5,000 on marketing and advertising. 2MamaBees has scheduled benchmarks to be sold in stores at Sam’s Club and Costco starting in Spring of 2026.  

    In Summer 2022, FAO Schwartz featured 2MamaBees’ top selling playhouses, the Reign Two Story and Ajure, in their NYC flagship store. January 2023 the Reign Two Story Playhouse was featured in British Vogue. In February 2023, the Zahara Playhouse was featured in British Vogue. In March 2023, the Reign Two Story was featured in British Vogue and House & Garden Magazine. In June of 2023 2MamaBees won a Gold Stevie Award – American Business Award – Start-Up of the Year -Consumer Product Industry. Shortly after 2MamaBees won a Silver Stevie Award – Women in Business – Start-Up of the Year – Consumer Product Industry. 2MamaBees’ Reign Two Story Playhouse was awarded “Best Aesthetic Wooden Swing Set” by Best Products and awarded the same accolade in 2024. Juliana and Samantha were named International Women Entrepreneurs of the Year – Manufacturing by Great Companies in 2024. 2MamaBees is the winner of LUXLife Home and Garden Awards for both “Most Aesthetically Beautiful Swing-Set” and “Best Quality Playhouse” in 2024 and 2MamaBees will be publicly recognized by Corporate Live Wire - Innovation and Excellence Awards as the “Luxury Children’s Product of the Year” in September of 2024.

    Juliana and Samantha, mothers of eight children, founded 2MamaBees in Samantha’s backyard in late 2019.  Originally established with the intent to sell handmade outdoor products on Etsy, the company achieved 1,000 sales of window boxes, porch swings, and refurbished playhouses in the first 18-months.  Realizing they stumbled on a gap in the marketplace, the founders took a leap of faith and created their own line of high quality, modernly designed playhouses, and children’s décor. In October of 2021, 2MamaBees brand launched with the manufacturing and sales of their first self-designed playhouses.  The company has achieved rapid growth, with sales of $500,000 in the first calendar year and 200% growth year-over-year.  2MamaBees is currently sold in over 80 online retailers including Target, Walmart, Sam’s Club, Wayfair and Saks5thAve. All 2MamaBees products are domestically sourced from managed forest, American-made by second-generation Amish artisans, and designed eco-friendly to exceed the highest safety standards.  The designs inspire creativity and sensory development, while adding a contemporary aesthetic to any backyard or indoor play space.

    2MamaBees was recognized by the Tot as Women Entrepreneurs of the Year in March 2021 alongside eight other women-owned brands after just five months of launching. The other companies were founded in; Ollie Ella 2010, Twee Made 2016, Nico and Yeye 2017, Milton & Goose 2017, and Dumye 2013.

    FAO Schwartz summer shop floor space sells for upwards of $50,000. 2MamaBees’ Playhouses were installed in this prime retail frontage, for free, as FAO fell in love with the products and designed their Summer Shop completely around 2MamaBees’ products. 

    2MamaBees largest competitors are KidKraft and Backyard Discovery; both of which are manufactured overseas. 2MamaBees is proudly made in the USA by Amish Artisans. Our founders felt strongly about creating a line of products that were non-toxic, aesthetically beautiful, and hand-made to ensure the highest quality for every customer.  2MamaBees prides itself on simplistic setup, highlighted by the 14 page 1.5 – 2.5 hour build time for the Reign Two Story Playhouse.  The product is almost completely preassembled and weighs 535 lbs. Compare this to a typical KidKraft two story playhouse, which comes with over 100 pages 8-10 hour build time and weighs roughly 250 lbs fully assembled. 

    Despite 2MamaBees being so new to the industry we were able to win eight awards based on quality and aesthetics in the very competitive outdoor toy space with little to no marketing dollars behind the recognitions. For reference Kid Kraft was established in 1968 and Backyard Discovery was established in 1987.
