As President of BT Global Services UK, Emer has profit & loss responsibility for a multi-billion pound business.  She leads an organisation that delivers for some of BT Global Services biggest global corporate customers.  Emer owns all of BT Global Services business with systems integrators worldwide, partnering on major contracts in all sectors.

Emer was the BT Global Services champion for the London 2012 Olympics, a member of the Group 2012 Steering Board and was the corporate customer hospitality programme executive sponsor .  As Global Services champion for charity Emer spearheads fund raising for Comic Relief and Sport Relief, with staff, customers and partners.  

Emer led two important Group programmes: the Knowledge Management & Collaboration programme, enabling knowledge sharing and pioneering the use of social media & collaboration tools and techniques; and the Professional Communities programme, through which a leading-edge skill-based approach to the management of our people was implemented.  

Emer has consistently demonstrated her leadership ability and was the proud winner of the CBI First Women Award for Business Services in June 2011.

Emer Timmons, President of BT Global Services UK (BT GS), has held key roles at multi-billion-pound telecoms and professional services businesses for more than 17 years. Having achieved a meteoric rise within BT, being promoted seven times within six years, she is now the only ever female President at BT UK and is responsible for a £4 billion P&L.
