Hiring Kayleigh Hughes as the social media manager at The Predictive Index (PI) in July 2023 was a no-brainer. From her first interview, she brought innovative ideas to the discussion and was ready to break down barriers. In just one year, she has steered the social media ship through some uncharted waters. It’s no surprise to see her success, as her PI behavioral profile (a Maverick), combined with being a member of Generation Z, is comfortable doing exactly that.
Mavericks are visionaries who want to achieve what’s never been achieved before. They’re not fans of the status quo and will shake things up. Kayleigh, like many Mavericks is innovative, influential, daring, and direct—with a remarkably high tolerance for taking chances.
Kayleigh has also pushed the bounds of what our team was used to doing for so many years. Like many from Generation Z, Kayleigh is passionate, curious, and uses her high creativity to find solutions to any problem put in front of her. She stays genuine to who she is, is highly motivated and confident, and is always looking to make her mark on the world with her subject matter expertise. She’s taught by doing, and coming in at an entry level role, she’s opened us up to be more creative and engaging for our audiences across the board. Quite frankly, she makes work fun.
PI’s investment in social media has focused on building brand awareness and trust, and hiring Kayleigh to join the team brought our marketing, and more so PI’s reach, to a whole new level. Objectively, we’ve seen the following growth within our impressions, audience, signups, and more since Kayleigh’s start one year ago.
- Impressions: Increased from 1.8 million to 6.4 million (243% increase).
- Engagements: Grew from 34,000 to 466,000 (1256% increase).
- Link Clicks: Totaled 42,000 in July 2024, a 108% increase from July 2023.
- Followers: Grew 12,171 across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook to a total of 78,298 from July 2023 to July 2024 (18.4% increase).
Additionally, our social media efforts have also directly contributed to revenue:
- High-Intent Leads: 136 leads, contributing over $100k in revenue.
- Free Trial Signups: Approximately 250 signups, adding $42,500 in revenue.
Subjectively, Kayleigh has taken our content and crafted it into a beautiful story through popular trends, all while engaging our network and broader community. She has engaged with our network of Partners (certified consultants who use PI with their clients), and has invited new folks into the conversation by helping them see people-first approaches they can also use on social media.
Additionally, Kayleigh manages an important vendor that supports social media content creation for our executive team. This ensures our executives share both their personal brand content as well as pieces that push the mission of PI’s work forward through current themes and messages we’re focused on as a company.
Kayleigh stays up to date on news within the HR tech space that’s important to our audience and shares PI’s own work as well. This has supported her content having lots of variety. She has created polls that engage our community and create conversation. She launched our first influencer program collaborating with influencers in the HR space like @corporate.manny and @emily.the.recruiter. She speaks up about changes in the HR world, and much more.
With the changes to our social presence, and the risks taken for engagement, our content continues to provide what we’ve always strived to be in our business: relatable, clear, and engaging. PI’s social content focuses on creating and growing conversation around companies putting their strongest asset first (their people)!
Kayleigh deserves this Stevie Award for her innovation, courage, creativity, and hard work in the ever-evolving landscape that is social media management.
