Irene came to the United States with nothing but a wild dream to become an entrepreneur with the incredible support from her Taiwanese parents. She was born in Taiwan and came to Santa Clara University in 1983 to obtain a Master’s Degree in EECS (Electrical Engineering and Computer Science). After her marriage to an aeronautics professor at Stanford, she left a successful career with HP to start her own company Acellent. The company’s mission is to provide practical applications of AI for airlines in order to monitor their planes’ health and safety. Irene has received many government contracts and awards, including the Company of the Year award for all technology companies worldwide from the Globee Awards. Her ability to win federal contracts from the US Government is incredible and deserves recognition. Her vision and mission for AI and the deployment of our SHM - Structural Health Monitoring and Management product solution platform to enable smarter structures for a much safer world is a complete game charger for the SHM - Structural Health Monitoring and Management and AI industries.

Irene continues to be invited to speeches where she emphasizes the importance of new technologies for greater efficiency that reduces downtime, mitigates maintenance costs and transitions from scheduled based periodic maintenance to condition based maintenance in the United States and East Asia. She travels non-stop globally to Europe, Asia, Australia and the Americas to educate and to specifically listen to the customers' needs of how our products and technological innovation can best support their needs. Irene understands the privilege she carries and honor she represents in Silicon Valley. With this, Irene won Silicon Valley's Most Influential Leader from the International Rotary Club, is a Fellow for the American Leadership Forum - Silicon Valley and national governing board members of APAPA - Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs Association and the Duo Duo Project Organization.
Acellent gives back to the US Government by working closely with the US Government on projects that encourage high technology for greater productivity to certain industries. This includes safer technology and products for cars that monitors the state of charge and state of health for EVs and monitor cracks, bolt loosening, corrosion and impacts on both commercial and military aircrafts and rotorcrafts and oil and gas pipelines and refineries. As mentioned, Acellent also won the Best Sustainable Product Award from SEAL that emphasizes a serious commitment and long-term relationship with environmental business doings.
