1. By July 2021, our clinic had responded to the Covid crisis by increasing manpower, creating a contagious wing for urgent care and securing all necessary medical equipment and supplies to treat Covid and prevent hospitalization.
We were proactive and innovative such that < 1 percent of our Covid cases required hospitalization because we proactively got oxygen in their homes, administered IV vitamin C, and secured more than 1,000 monoclonal antibodies by petitioning our governor when the resources were limited.
2. Post July 2021, we began expanding our work force from 2 providers and 2 support staff to our current staff total of 23 to accommodate the overwhelming demand.
3. We opened a pediatric division called” Kids Outside the Box!” to educate entire families from before birth to death.
4. We expanded the clinic from 6k sq ft to 8k sq ft including a new education area, new pediatric section, new “IV bar,” 10 new rooms, more urgent care rooms, and hired a nutritionist.
5. We transitioned to a new electronic medical record for better revenue cycle management and patient portal access.
6. Our new additional space allowed for the donation of an exam room bi-monthly for “Her Scan”, a breast imaging service for out-of-pocket ultrasounds.
7. We expanded our provider education program to include outside educators including providers and industry educators for weekly classes.
8. Designed and participated in a prospective IRB study sponsored by Standard Process and studying impacts of nutrition on the cardiovascular system.
